Location, location, location! There may be a couple minor details that almost made me give this beautiful hotel a 4 out of 5 but location trumps all. A true Palazzo right in the center of the most stunning town in Tuscany. We changed our itinerary 2 weeks before our trip and added a night in Tuscany (we were based out... More

The Palazzo is extremely well placed in the old town, with rooms that are nothing short of breath-taking. Stayed in the Lepoldo; however, all of the rooms appeared large and comfortable. Each has a sitting area, vaulted ceilings and spa like bathrooms. We also found the service superb, with Melania providing most direct interaction. Free coffee, snacks, beer and water... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Carletti for 3 nights while traveling through Toscana. What a beautiful, historic hotel! Staying at the Carletti really a accentuates the entire Montepulciano experience. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by our hostess Melania and introduced to the property and our room. We choose the Deluxe Carletti which was beautiful. Extremely high ceilings with beautiful... We spent five nights at the Carletti and found the room beautiful, location perfect and a great place from which to explore Tuscany. So why good not great well there were a couple of things that just took away from the experience a bit being, 1- our shower leaked and took four days to fix, 2 - the breakfast was... More

Dear Guests, thank you very much for your review and we are sorry that something didn't fully satisfy you . I would like to assure you that as soon as you have reported the breaking of the topping of the shower we intervened in such a way, and it was not easy, that the piece, sent to us directly by... Lovely hotel with very large room. Stunning bathroom! Fluffy soft towels! 18 year old daughter had her own loft room. Breakfast was disappointing, especially as the rest of the hotel seems so "smart"! Hotel in heart of old city centre. Eat dinner at Osteria Acquacheta - via del Teatro 22 - brilliant!! On a negative note the Air -conditioner was... More

We stayed in three different areas around Tuscany in September of this year (without counting 3 days in Florence). The goal was to see as much as possible of Tuscany, even though, sometimes, it's necessary to slow down and enjoy the slow pace and do very little to take it all in. The first stop we stayed at was near... More

We stayed here the last week-end in August and loved Palazzo Carletti. Built in a medial building with Frescos on the walls and ceiling - but with all the modern updates such as WiFi, coffe machine and amazing lighting. Melania was a wonderful host and the breakfast was just too much! There was a large choice of lovely food. Unbeknown... More

Palazzo Carletti is a beautiful property with incredible views across the Tuscan countryside. Our room (Double Deluxe Carletti) was amazing - spacious, comfortable bed, superb bathroom, steam room and lovely little balcony. Melania is a great host and the location is spot on. Downsides? our room was at the front of the building and that, combined with the fact that... More

Palazzo Carletti is amazing! Its in the heart of the walled city of Montepulciano and offers amazing views and excellent access to the city. We were warmly greeted by the host Melania and she made sure that we were very well taken care of. Our room was gorgeous and you couldn't ask for a better location in Montepulciano. The food... We stayed here in late July and couldn't recommend it higher!! I would class it as a boutique hotel and if you are interested in a quiet and romantic place to stay, then this is it. The town of Montepulciano is smaller than Sienna but had fantastic food, wine and shopping. We will be back. Kerri, Australia
