I was so lucky to find this place. I paid in full to get a better price and glad I did. Ok ....not the easiest place to find in the town of Montepulciano, but once there.....forget about all the profanity that flowed on the drive up. A beautiful piece of paradise. It was just my friend and me, but we... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in May. We came by train from Arezzo to Chiusi and got the hotel to arrange a taxi for us from Chuisi station. This worked well. The room was delightful, beautiful high frescoed ceiling, plenty of space, a nespresso machine, free mini bar, ice machine. Bathroom was a sort of lower ceilinged pod in... More

Fun to stay here as it was an old villa converted into a small bnb. Stayed in the albany room with views to die for. That was the best part of the stay here. When we first checked in our room smelled of smoke (even though it was a non-smoking room). The huge sliding door aired it out, but made... More

Wonderful old building, large private area includding a suite and a private living room very comfortable and well equipped. Amazing view for the typical vineyards of the Tuscany region. The place has a very romantic atmosphere, great for couples, but I had a very nice stay traveling with a child and a baby. Only two points that I believe they... More

What an amazing hotel! The room was very luxurious. We chose the room with the steam bath . . . a GREAT choice! The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of food. The staff was very kind and helpful. Do take into consideration the you'll have to go up a flight of stairs, so be prepared to carry... More

We stayed at the Albany Suite for two nights and we loved it very much. The view from the balcony (and the bedroom) is breathtaking and it has to be seen to be fully appreciated. It is far better than any photos. The bathroom is huge and the disco down lights in the jacuzzi area are a nice addition. We... More

We came across this beautiful walled town when doing our research and just had to visit. Palazzo Carletti was right in the heart of town and in a beautiful old building. Melania made our booking easy and promptly responded to emails. Once we arrived we were greeted by Melania and given details of the town of where to eat, drink... More

Location, location, location! There may be a couple minor details that almost made me give this beautiful hotel a 4 out of 5 but location trumps all. A true Palazzo right in the center of the most stunning town in Tuscany. We changed our itinerary 2 weeks before our trip and added a night in Tuscany (we were based out... More

The Palazzo is extremely well placed in the old town, with rooms that are nothing short of breath-taking. Stayed in the Lepoldo; however, all of the rooms appeared large and comfortable. Each has a sitting area, vaulted ceilings and spa like bathrooms. We also found the service superb, with Melania providing most direct interaction. Free coffee, snacks, beer and water... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Carletti for 3 nights while traveling through Toscana. What a beautiful, historic hotel! Staying at the Carletti really a accentuates the entire Montepulciano experience. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by our hostess Melania and introduced to the property and our room. We choose the Deluxe Carletti which was beautiful. Extremely high ceilings with beautiful...
