Stayed at the the Osteria del Borgo. In fact the picture on this site is our actual room. Francesco and his father were amazing hosts! Our original room was taken so we were given another room with a spectacular view! Our family of six fit nicely! The view was something out of a movie. To wake up every morning to... More

Getting to the hotel was an adventure in itself..I called the reception to ask where in town the hotel was and was directed to "Parking Lot #7 or #8" which was a long hike up the hill with luggage..and then I discovered later on that we could have driven to the hotel and received a parking pass. Parking was definitely... More

What a lovely stay we had at Osteria del Borgo. We stayed for 3 nights using this as a home-base for driving around Tuscany. Our first night we had driven from Venice and were exhausted, hungry, and glad to have found the place after a treacherous drive through storms in the mountains. The owner was incredibly gracious, helping us carry... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident but was amazing! We had the best Pici here! (A must get, handmade pasta- similar to speghetti but better) and not to mention the house wine was delicious! Great staff! Little pricey but worth it! We didn't sit outside but the views from their outdoor seating were gorgeous!

We stayed for one night in early March, passing through Montepulciano on the way from Orvieto to Florence. It was dark and rainy the night we arrived, and it took us ~45 min to find the Osteria, but that's because we parked and walked for a bit, concerned about being in a ZTL area. Eventually, we got good directions and... More

We travelled to Montepulciano for four days of our 10 day Spring Break trip to Italy in April 2014. Francesco was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. From the day I reserved the room through the end of our stay the entire family was overwhelmingly helpful and gracious. Francesco, his brother, Giacomo, father, Adriano and mother, Nadia, made us feel... More

What can we say about the hospitality, setting and amenities at Osteria Del Borgo? Ummm a WHOLE lot! We are WAY past due for this review (stayed May 29th 2013) , but … My wife and I went to Italy for 2 weeks for our 1 year anniversary. We wanted to pack it all in, so we went to Rome,... More

We bounced around Italy for a week and a half in October 2013 (Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Rome and Montepulciano) and this was our favorite place, both hotel and city, that we stayed. We decided to add Montepulciano to our trip itinerary at the last minute and were so glad we did. Osteria del Borgo is charming, beautiful and cozy... More

We had reserved online and confirmed our reservation (through Venere.com) in August for a November stay. When we contacted the hotel as requested to provide our time of arrival, we were told our reservation had been lost and our room already rented. They promptly found us a room in a very nice hotel down the street, and offered us free... More

Pros: - Fantastic hospitality, very friendly and helpful when we were lost driving into Montepulciano (spoke great english) - Located right by the main square in the heard of Montepulciano, very close to shops and restaurants (although Montepulciano is quite small and most places would be walking distance anyway). B&B comes with free parking which is very close by -... More
