We enjoyed a wonderful stay at le Caggiole. The location is very beautiful, just few miles out of the old town of Montepulciano. We were warmly welcomed by Giacomo, he gave us a lot of good suggestions for all our 4 days. We paid extra for the dinner: we highly reccomend it! This is a perfect place to stay in... More

Amazing experience: our apartment washington large, clan and with a wonderful view! Giacomo, the owner, so helpful gave us good suggestions for our visits. A special thanks for the special dinner offered: a real experience!

Our room, Il Lemoni, had windows that opened to the Tuscan sunrise over olive groves and grapevines. Beautiful, quiet perfect!!! Not extravagant, but well appointed spacious room. Great location and great hosts. Just a few kilometers from Montepulciano old town for resturants and shopping and wine tastings, but out in the country. Giacomo & Cristiana were great hosts with fabulous... More

Arrived for a four night stay on 4 September in the room named La Nicchia. Room was nice with antique furniture, some of which had been in Giacomo's family for many years. Be aware, this room does not have much space for a lot of luggage to be opened up, it is nice, but compact. I believe other rooms at... More

We stayed 5 nights in the middle of our Italian trip and thoroughly enjoyed the farm. Situated so close to Montepulciano was so handy. We loved how all guests gathered for breakfast at a long harvest table. It just invited conversation about what we'd seen and everyone's plans for the day. The breakfasts were so delicious with fresh home made... More

Our trip included three couples so it was a perfect place for us. My husband and I had the suite which included a small kitchenette with a sitting area, so we could gather in the evening. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a large wardrobe, so we were able to settle in for our six night stay. The... More

We enjoyed our recent stay at Le Caggiole with Giacomo and his family. The property is beautiful and the views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside are very nice. Giacomo was helpful by providing recommendations for restaurants in town, one of which was one of our better meals in Montepulciano, (Ristorante degli Archi). We opted for the cooking class which was... More

Le Caggiole is a welcoming "homey" place. Shortly after checking in you become part of that family. Giacomo greets you, His Mother, Ornella puts a marvellous spread of pastries and fresh fruits out each morning, his wife,Cristiana charms you during the optional cooking classes ( if you are fortunate enough to have booked in advance) and his daughter, Caterina is... My girlfriend and I booked 4 nights at Le Caggiole in September 2014. We were attracted by the website which offered cooking classes, a spa/wellness facility and a family run experience. Upon arrival we met the host and were told that we needed to pre book the cooking class in advance and they couldn't offered it at all whilst we... More

leCaggiole, Proprietario at Agriturismo le Caggiole, responded to this review

This review has a very low score compared to the standard of the reviews that we receive usually: no one would ever want. Is human and understandable to be disappointed; but writing lies is unfair. Ours is a small family-run Agriturismo (sorry for the banality, but evidently the explanation is required): this means that the work of B&B, all the... More

My wife and I stayed at Le Caggiole this past summer for four nights in the beginning of august. To put it simply, we absolutely loved it! The scenery was gorgeous, our room was beautiful (and clean) and the service was excellent. There may be less amenities than some are used to (no pool for example) but the lack of... More
