My girlfriend and I booked 4 nights at Le Caggiole in September 2014. We were attracted by the website which offered cooking classes, a spa/wellness facility and a family run experience. Upon arrival we met the host and were told that we needed to pre book the cooking class in advance and they couldn't offered it at all whilst we... More

This review has a very low score compared to the standard of the reviews that we receive usually: no one would ever want. Is human and understandable to be disappointed; but writing lies is unfair. Ours is a small family-run Agriturismo (sorry for the banality, but evidently the explanation is required): this means that the work of B&B, all the... More

My wife and I stayed at Le Caggiole this past summer for four nights in the beginning of august. To put it simply, we absolutely loved it! The scenery was gorgeous, our room was beautiful (and clean) and the service was excellent. There may be less amenities than some are used to (no pool for example) but the lack of... More

If you failed to enjoy this beautiful enchanted place, the issue lays within yourself not this paradise... We made Le Caggiole our base for our dreamed experience in Tuscany....this was not not an italian sampler trip but rather a Tuscan living experience of 10 days in one location. Some comments here made us worried about our choice....first few seconds in... More

We stayed for 3 nights and also took a cooking class from Giacomo and his wife. We ate dinner there one night (the one we helped cook) and it was excellent. They pair the food with wine made on their own farm, and it's GREAT! I learned a lot about selecting the right foods for making a great meal. And... More

Giacomo and family have a wonderful spot very close to Montepulciano and Montelcino for all you Tuscan wine lovers. The service is great, rooms spotless and the breakfast is typically Italian - Coffee, Fruit, Yoghurt, bread and cakes ( beautiful and freshly made on the premises ). The setting and grounds are fantastic - a real treat

My last review was deleted. As a travel professional, I rely on Tripadvisor daily for all of my bookings. I was disappointed because I thought Tripadvisor's job was to allow guests to inform others about THEIR good and bad experiences while at a resorts/hotels/villas,etc., allowing potential guests to make an informed decision. Because my experience wasn't as perfect as others,... More

We went to Le Caggiole for our honeymoon last August because we saw the pictures of the lovely rooms they offer on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. Everything was better than we would have imagined. From the home-made cakes and biscuits for breakfast to the stunning scenery of the place to the dinner given by the owner, we enjoyed it... More

We had a wonderful stay at Le Caggiole for our honeymoon in June! We took a cooking class from Giacomo and Christiana, his wife, which we would highly recommend, not only for getting to know them a bit but also because Giacomo shared some of his knowledge of the local ecosystem which plays into every part of the meal. It's... More

I guess it has a lot to do with expectations. We figured Agriturismo would be exactly what it was- a converted farmhouse that allowed us to truly experience Tuscany. We found Giacomo and his family very accommodating, welcoming and a really great experience. I must say we were at the same dinner as the previous reviewer and found it to... More

Lovely property and you truly feel like you are staying with family. Our room had an incredible view and looking out the window in the morning was like a dream. Giacomo (and family) was very kind to us- and incredibly helpful to map out for us a one day 'whirlwind tour' of the area- and all of his recommendations were... More
