Augustus is a friendly and must visit hotel in Montegrotto. They have interconnecting rooms if you are two families. Rooms are spacious with a small balcony .. The biggest draw is its proximity to the station and the Thermal pool and Jacuzzi !!! At temperatures close to 2 degres we were at the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi ...just enjoying... More

We started and finished our 7 day cycling tour of the Veneto region at the Augustus and it proved to be a good choice. Ildebrando and his team were consistently helpful with a range of arrangements, including providing secure parking for our bikes before we arrived. Rooms are a good size and we had no complaints. The pool was warm... More

I visited for one night in June 2012. While the decor is a bit dated, the hotel rooms and public areas are very clean and the staff is great. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station in the quiet town of Montergrotto. The outdoor pool area is nice and spacious, a great atmosphere. I had... More

I have been visiting the hotel Augustus Terme for a few years and, whilst the decor is a little dated and shabby in parts, the atmosphere in the hotel is warm and friendly. Entertainment, welcome cocktail parties and Gala Dinners are provided every week. The breakfast and evening buffets are varied and plentiful, although on this recent trip in February... More

Stayed here on business trip in Dec 2009. Very nice hotel and great value. However Montergrotto is a small spa town and if you wanted a quiet relaxing break with some nice restaurants nearby it is good. You need a car to get to it, so if you were touring it would be fine. We flew with RyanAir into Treviso... More

When you check-in here you are entering a time-warp. Huge glass shard chandeliers, big pillars, and (unintentionally) kitsch artefacts adorn the reception and bar areas. Nothing wrong with that, mind, just fascinating. built when Montegrotto was having a boom period, it of course looks dated now, but the bar service was great and the rooms are clean, with great balcony... I've stayed at Hotel Augustus Terme perhaps 10 times in the last five years; each visit for a week to ten days (business trips in the are). This hotel is tops on my list. The staff is friendly and accomodating, the food is good and varied, and the location is perfect for my needs. When the business day ends, I... More

The hotel was really nice, the pools wonderfull but one of the best things of it all was the staff. They were helpful and friendly. Another great thing was the food. Especially the dinner (including the anti-pasti buffet) was the best I have had in any hotel in Montegrotto.

Deserved 4-stars. Didn't found anything wrong, the room, the service, the cleanliness, buffet breakfast with lots of choices (so far never seen in Italy a huge buffet breakfast like this one!) To use the thermal pools have to pay an additional, was so so nice (specially in winter)... Is close walking distance to the Montegrotto train station where is easy... More
