We picked this hotel as it was the only hotel in our package choices that had free parking on sight. It is a Grand hotel and has a lot of character. They seem to get most business from travel packages. The staff are excellent from suggested restaurants and sights to see. Breakfast is in a grand dining room and is... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel for 4 nights. Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, we have learned to appreciate the quirks and eccentricities that you will find in European hotels, so this review is written as objectively as possible, knowing that experiences in different countries are just that. Different. First, the good things - the hotel... More

Beautiful old hotel with lots of antiques and quirky furniture in the hall ways and rooms. Clean and comfortable. Short walk down into the town and closer still to the outdoor market. Fairly quiet around hotel but many shops/restaurants closed for the winter(except for in town).

We were inquiring of this hotel for a wedding and we received special rates from other hotels for our guests, except for this one which is absolutely fine if it weren't for a very rude Hotel rep. Am not going to be naming names, but it seems they don't know what courtesy/politeness is. We're just glad to have found out... More

Our time at this hotel was excellent but when we were robbed in Florence and lost our rental car keys, passport and money Alessandro and his staff went above and beyond to help us and make the whole experience less traumatic and stressful. I would highly recommend this hotel since Alessandro and his staff are superior. The facility is lovely... More

The front desk is quite helpful and provided us with a map that directed us to the train station of Montecatini Centro (which was easy to access via a 15 min walk). The rooms are good enough. We had 3 twin beds, although there were only two of us, that were comfortable enough to sleep on. Breakfast was provided and... More

This hotel is a wonderul old venue located just up the road from the center of Montecatini Terme. We had a busy schedule while visiting but we took full advantage of the delicious breakfast offered every morning. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are very comfortable and the window views are picturesque. The only tricky part was finding... More

Great service, clean, good location a few blocks off main square and large room for Europe. Breakfast excellent, bar comfortable and staff helpful. This town is much more upscale than I expected, lots of shopping

So, our room was promised to have wifi. Only the lobby had wifi. When asked, reception man said they'd called about it a week ago and still no server repairs. When I pushed for more, he suddenly couldn't comprehend English. We were promised a hotel with a restaurant. Well, there was a restaurant, but they only open it in the... More

Very nice place to stay. A lot of vintage art and furniture. Rooms are comfortable. They have an old lift elevator which is fun to ride. The breakfast room in the morning is a beautiful buffet with a variety of meat and cheese and breads. Ask for scrambled eggs - they are excellent. The front desk was very helpful with... More
