I visit Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio in Montecatini Terme with tourist groups more times every summer. As a tour guide I have a lot of hotels to compare so I can tell this one is the prefect choice to stay when in Tuscany. The hotel is on the main street so it's close to the city center but it's not noisy... More

Stayed here with a group. Location of this hotel is great. Just on the main road, lots of shops, gelateria etc. Hotel was fine, the room was a bit small, but it was homely. The bed was uncomfortable though. Bathroom was small. Breakfast was okay, wasn't expecting much. Couldn't get wifi in the room. If you came by bus or... More

The hotel is good for folks interested in shopping. Its on the high street and you can find clothes, shoes and bag shops close by. Safe to walk around and has come good restaurants around. They also serve you a Tuscan feat on request. The room we stayed in was spacious. The bathroom was clean and large. Disappointed with the... More

I often hear about hotels where people come back year after year. That was never me. For me a hotel was a place to sleep and have a meal. I may have to change my mind because this place is awesome. The room was really nice and very clean. There was a balcony overlooking the main street. You might fear... More

As part of a coach tour group, we were booked into the Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio for one night. The reception staff on arrival were friendly and efficient, and the waitrons were great. The lifts however were a nightmare. With a coach load of about 50 people, you could fit one person into each lift with their bags. The pink couches... More

Is a verry good 3 stars hotel in Tuscany. Personal are verry kind and restaurant is the best. From Montecatini you have acces to go to Florence, Pisa or Viarregio in train ( 200 m from hotel) . Is located in centrum to the main street with a lot of shops they are open until 23h. But you have enough... More

A very nice and clean hotel. The hotel is in the centrum of beautiful Montecatini-Terme. It is close to all shops and in a very safe and quiet area. The staff are the kindest people and always there to help. All of the staff are very honest and trustworthy, so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday 100%. In... More

Was here during July 2014 en-route to Venice. Had a quiet room near the back section of the hotel (would have preferred a room over-looking the front street. My room's view was of the back of another building and balconies. There is air-conditioning and the room was clean. Marble bath, with nice-size walk-in shower. The rooms are small, by American... This is a hotel which has preserved a 1920's 1930's feel but with a sympathetic modernisation. Rooms (x2) were good with some period features but modern air conditioning and large refurbished bathrooms with marble finish. Relatively inexpensive (by Roman standards) local restaurants - see Trip Advisor reviews. Hotel restaurant a bit more expensive but good and traditional Italian fare.
