We had to be dropped off a few streets away as coached can not drop in front of the hotel. Old style hotel with traditional furnishings. A bit dark in the bedrooms due the dark bedding & curtains. Air conditioned. Good selection of foods for continental breakfast in the dinning room. Good drink service outside on the terrace.

I was part of a bus tour, apart from Hostel accommodation this was by far the worst room. Very old I was in the back part of this hotel single bed old bed cover a/c only just worked but not well can't say anything nice about this place. Looks flashy from outside

This hotel was booked as part of a budget group tour. Courteous staff. Nice, big rooms (compared to most European hotels). We also ate a nice dinner. Breakfast was so-so. The location is very good. Many restaurants and shops around the area. Will consider this again for my next visit to Montecatini Terme!

Stayed one night at Hotel Massimo and unfortunately I had left my gold chain behind in the room and only realised I had lost it when in Switzerland. The cleaning staff had found it and handed it in to the reception. When my tour leader contacted them they assured it was found and safely stored awaiting pickup. After a month... More

Hotel is located just one block away from Termini station. It was very easy to go to tour meeting place and many travel spots in Rome. Breakfast was pretty good and the corner unit that we stayed was large and high ceiling. It was busy area but after closing two think windows, we had a good sleep.

Our room didn't have a very good AC, in very hot weather this is a necessity! The window didn't close properly, there was no AC in the bath at all so it was roasting hot in there. It is a fun location, lots of chances to people watch. The staff was very friendly!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We'd like to specify that It's true that we don't have air conditioning in the bathrooms, but ALL ROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH DETACHED AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. It means that every room has its own remote controller and the guests can decide to turn it on and off when they want. Probably your remote... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio. The location was perfect for us to get acquainted with the city via Hop On Hop Off bus system - literally a 2-minute walk before we were stepping onto the bus. (Avoid the Greenline Hop On Hop Off Bus as it's the worst quality offered in Rome.) We were able to... More

Fortunately we were only here for 1 night. The entrance was welcoming and decor nice, but our rooms were dated, though spacious. I hardly had any sleep as the bed was rock hard and the pillow wafer thin! Also the room was like a sauna. Otherwise everything was functional and for one night, was ok.

Ours was a very long and arduous coach journey, so finally arriving at hotel Massimo, was a welcome relief. Although the rooms are aesthetically dated, they were comfortable and had all we needed. Food was part of our package, and was good, if a little predictable after the 3rd night. (Pasta, meat & Veg followed by cake). Now to Montecatini,... More

Dear Mrs Julie, thank you very much for your review. We're so glad you enjoyed your trip and your stay at our Hotel. About the 80% of our rooms have been completely renewed during the last 5 years. Just a few still have old furnitures... but same facilities of the others: hairdryer, flat tv, private bathroom. Maybe you were accomodated... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights B+B and evening meal with a coach party from Coventry. The 5th floor room we were allocated was quite large with a small balcony overlooking the street. The bed was comfortable, however there were no tea making facilities. The bathroom and shower was a good size and everthing worked.... More
