The hotel tries, but rooms are small yet clean. but lots of younger people running up and down the hallway, some were smoking pot and yellilng. wouldn't be my choice again. however, on the up side a very short walk to the train station into florence and the breakfast each morning was lovely. if you are looking for clean and... Don't judge the book by its cover. This hotel is very nice. Staff excellent. Location perfect. Would book again. Room very nice. Restaurant good. To get to Parking isn't easy at first, but once you find it, it makes sense.

We booked a GATE 1 package and this hotel was their choice. I read lots of other reviews saying give it a chance but it is no four star hotel. The location is great (across the street from the train station), an easy walk to town, the rooms were a good size and the continental breakfast in the dining room... More

Dear, Thanks for the time reserved for us writing this comment on our hotel . I am really surprise to read the negative comment, surely regarding the misunderstanding happened, for the requests about extra pillows, towels, and blanchet, that absolutely with pleasure, we give it free of charge on request, to our guests. All of our Staff is always at... More

The people within were charming but the place is falling apart. Electricity went out a few times, smell of mold throughout and the pipes backed up and our water was turned off for a day... Just awful. There's nothing like a 8 hour plane ride and then a 3 hour car ride to then enter your room and discover you... More

We were lucky to have met the staff and Georgiana the week before thanksgiving. She made our stay there very pleasant and informative. She was able to take care of our small group while handling a large Asian Tour group. We would see Georgiana in the morning for breakfast and again in the evening for night caps. She never seemed... My husband and I stayed here the week of Thanksgiving. When we arrived, after a 3 1/2hr drive, we were welcomed by a young lady at the front desk. That evening I went to the dining room just to browse and see what kind of food they were serving. I was greeted by Georgiana, a bubbly, energetic young woman. She... More

Not bad, not great, typical tourist class hotel. Rooms are fairly large by European standards but showing their age a little, peeling molding, scuff walls. Nice central place to explore area. Pros Close to train station Free parking Wifi in room Free breakfast (although selection did not change the whole week we were there). Good base camp to explore Siena,... More

This hotel seems to cater to tour groups, of which I was traveling with one. There is a large lot just for tour buses. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. The food was all right, but nothing exceptional or local. The sleeping rooms were the largest we stayed in on this trip of Italy. Large bathrooms, but the... More

At first glance this hotel looks a bit strange, kind of ultra modern but past it's prime. It's on a tiny side street, next to a very ornate cemetery, and the area seems a little "off". There's an abandoned shopping mall underneath, you can't drive to the front door because it's blocked off with old cement balls, and the whole... More

We picked this hotel solely on the basis of free parking, and we're very pleasantly surprised. from the outside it looks a little worn out. The inside was much better. The staff was very helpful and even with our very poor Italian managed to always get us where we needed to go. Breakfast was monotonous, same thing every day and... More
