My husband and I booked a Tuscany/Northern Italy vacation through Gate 1 Travel, and it included five nights at the Tuscany Inn Hotel. It's listed as a four-star hotel, and I suspect it was more fitting of that description several years ago. Today, it's a bit dated and could use some modernization, and it's not on a particularly picturesque street.... More

My fiancé and I were booked in this hotel after booking a deal from Gate1 Travel. The travel agency boasted this hotel's four star appeal and tourist minded atmosphere. Do not be fooled. This is no four star hotel. There are almost zero amenities. Our mini fridge did not work; the shower is about a 2' x 2' stall with... More

Stayed at the Tuscany Inn on a Gate1six-night travel package and found it to be a 'typical' very functional, non-pretentious hotel with comfortable rooms (as in many European hotels 'double' beds are made by putting two singles together with a center connector), a very adequate (if at some times crowded) buffet breakfast. The hotel is located right next to the... More

My daughter and I recently took advantage of a very reasonably priced, off season visit to Tuscany staying five nights at the Tuscany Inn Hotel in Montecatini Terme. This fairly new, five story building would likely be considered a three star, value hotel perfect for a home base while visiting the medieval villages of Parma, Pisa, Lucca, Vinci and Siena... More

We stayed here based off of a travel deal and it definitely fell short of our expectations. The staff was nice and breakfast was fine, but the place is very outdated and a few times during our stay they had to shut electricity off for hours at a time (luckily we had already left for the day). The bathroom set... More

Just went here as part of a travel deal, wifi didn't reach past the first floor so we had to sit in the lobby to connect. Breakfast was good, front desk was helpful, but housekeeping kept taking the blankets out of the room when the cleaned and didn't return any. It was cold! Close to both train stations and a... More

Dear Mrs Hillary, Thank you for your e-mail and for the time you spent to let us know your personal opinion about the hotel. I'd like to specify that the wi-fi connection works everywhere in the hotel, except on the first floor, where our restaurant is located. Regarding the the blankets in the room, normally the housekeepers put in every... More

I spent a week with my family in this hotel and i felt immediately a very professional from all the staff of the hotel. They always helped us with all information in general. The room was very clean, bright and spacius, the breakfast in the morning provided with all foods requested by a 4-stars hotel. free parking upstairs the building... More

There was nothing really special about the hotel with the exception of one person and I will discuss him in a moment. Our room was fairly clean (but I did use a make-up wipe to clean out the inside of the draws.) The beds were very small and very close together. The SHOWER oh my goodness the shower stall was... This was my second stay at the Hotel Tuscany Inn. They cater towards the tour groups, so they're very Westernized and the reception staff speaks great English. Every single person that I interacted with at the reception desk provided impeccable service. From providing restaurant recommendations, booking excursions, and evening purchasing our train tickets, the assistance provided by the staff was... More

The hotel is clean and safe, but don't expect much in ways of luxury. Rooms: We had two twin beds pushed together to form a queen. The mattresses were hard with a bit of a divot between the two beds. You'll start standard with one pillow each that are thin and soft. You can ask for more, don't be afraid... More
