Family run Hotel.A little dated, however the staff attention to detail concerning residents needs and the excellent four course meal and waiter service makes up for this. Fantastic swimming pool includes spa pool at no additional charge. To top it off all the family attended the last nights meal, laid on a six course meal with a beautiful rose for... More

My wife & l have just returned from a week at this lovely little hotel, we were supposed to go to the Grand Hotel Plaza in the town but two days before departure we were asked if we would move to the Astoria, it turned out to be a good move, the Astoria is set in a park about a... More

Just back from a rather splendid week at this beautifully located hotel. The pool is situated in the gardens behind the hotel and provided ample entertainment for our 9 year old son; it is a great size and the spa is an added bonus. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food is simple Italian fare, there is... More

The hotel has it charm but charm is not everything. We were in a old room that was a little depressing at start but with the time we got used to it. The breakfast was ok not more, not ok for a 4 stars hotel. On the good side, the place is not in the center so its has a... More

Stayed her in July 2015. It is located about 10 mins away from the town centre but is a beautiful part of town. A minutes walk from Tettucio spa and gardens. They play music on most evenings and it is free to wander in and out! Ignore inghams warning about the hotel being located on a blind bend-it is relatively... More

This hotel and its restaurant are what luxury used to be, and should be today. The building may be old, but the rooms contain everything for the modern needs. The dinner for the guests is delicious and has plenty of choice and the breakfast is abundant. Best of all, the old time service remains and the staff seem to appreciate... More

Wonderful food and wonderful service in a relaxed atmosphere. A true Italian experience. Family run. Have breakfast in the garden under the lemon trees. Relax at the pool. Great location which is a few minutes walk from the center of Montecatini Terme, which has lots of local shops, and a great new marble piazza with fountain. Walk to the local... More

This hotel was used as a base for a tour of Tuscany. I was travelling alone and had paid a single person supplement. Although rated as a 4-star hotel, I do not think it deserves it. I would describe the place is faded elegance urgently in need of a facelift and only give it 3-stars at best. Here is a... More
