There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. After just one day we felt like we were staying with family. We were sad to leave after 5 nights and will definitely be back. This is a family owned and run hotel. They are dedicated to giving their guests the best service and cleanest rooms. The food is great and... more

My wife and I spent four nights here during the first week in July with our three aldult children. The service and food were great and the accomodations were an excellent value. Pia and her family couldn't have been more helpful. She spent a great deal of time with us making suggestions and helping us plan our travels throughout Tuscany.... more

This hotel was just brilliant. I'm not sure of the star rating - but for the price (€60 for the room) I was very impressed. Our room was spotless, roomy and comfortable. Maria Pia, the owner, speaks perfect English and could not do enough for us; giving us maps, advice on where to go, to eat, sightseeing, looking up train... more

Hotel is centrally located in cool little Italian town with lots of cafes, restaurants, shopping in the immediate area. 10 minute walk to train station with trains going to Florence and Pisa every hour (every 30 minutes during rush hour). It's about a 35 minute train ride to central Florence or Pisa. The hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was... more

It is not The Cloister at Sea Island, Georgia, USA and It is not the price either. Just a super clean friendly safe place to relax at the end of the day with a drink and friends to discuss the travels of the day before a fantastic meal and a great night's sleep. We stayed at the La Pia Hotel... more

The best thing about this hotel is of course, Pia, the owner who speaks fluently 4 languages (Italian, of course, as well as English, German and French). She was so helpful in guiding our stay in Tuscany that it was a perfect one. We received a very comprehensive directiones and advice were to go and were not to and also... more

We were expecting the worst from La Pia -- it was the least expensive hotel of our trip, and the price included breakfast. It's nothing fancy, but they try hard to make you feel as if it is. The room was smallish, but clean and fresh and very quiet. (Our window was at the side of the hotel... don't know... more

I have just come back from La Pia hotel after a w onderful week in Montecatini Terme. I went as part of a large party of 78, the majority of whom stayed at La Pia. Maria, who runs the hotel with her brother, was a wonderful hostess, and nothing was too much trouble for her. We ate at the hotel... more

lovely big room with balcony, very clean, breakfast good, but the best thing about the hotel was the lady who runs it. she was very friendly and helpful, providing information about the area . the beautiful surroundings and the stay in the hotel made it a fantastic holiday more

The rooms are a bit on the small side...but the food makes up for it!! Montecatini Terme is a nice little town and the hotel is within walking distance to shopping. more
