We honestly didn't expect to find such a gem in the little hill-town of Montecatini Terme. We stumbled upon this hotel right off the train and gave it a shot, since we were only staying one night. The front desk staff was super nice, and actually spoke fairly good English. I believe it's a family-run establishment, and even the family... More

We had 8 days at this hotel. After 4 days the air con was turned off. We were told to open the windows. We could not do this because of Mosquitos. The safe was broken but after complaining profusely they bought a free standing one and fitted it in the room wardrobe. We where 2 of 4 people who were... More

We stayed for three nights in August with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter. The rooms were pleasant and the breakfasts were lovely. We enjoyed using the pool and loungers. The hotel is in a good situation for the Fenicular railway and restaurants and shops around the town. The best part of the stay was the friendliness and helpfulness... More

I,my partener and son (13) recently stayed here for 8 days. Although the road was closed due to improvements we found a way of acessing the hotel quite easily and as we had previously arranged to pay extra for private parking we were safe in the knowledge that our car was safely parked nearby. The staff were very friendly and... More

We are enjoying our second stay in Parma e Oriente and our experience has been much better than that described in 2 of the previous reviews, but that maybe because we have stayed both times in a separate block which is used for families, so maybe has better noise insulation and has a more recent decor than in the main... We felt perfectly. We were very pleased with the service, staff friendliness and readiness for service, the room, the maid service. The furnishing is finely elegant yet homely. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Everything is very clean, which is important to us. Very good location of the hotel, all within easy reach. Beautiful and very handy for the garden and... More

We stayed here for two nights on a cycle tour. Reception and lounge areas fine but overall the hotel has a very tired feel to it. Rooms noisy due to plumbing which allows you to hear the movements of residents above. Shower barely functioned Despite being the only residents at breakfast one morning we were not allowed to sit where... More

This is probably the best value hotel I have stayed at in Italy. The location was excellent being near to both the train station for days out to Lucca, Florence & Pisa & also the main sights in Montecatini Terme and Montecatini Alta.(i.e the Spa's, parks & funicular railway). A previous review mentions the roadworks but these did not detract... More

This was a fairly nice, clean, hotel, except for some issues; There was sidewalk/street construction that was going on early every morning jack-hammering workers, noise etc., which also made finding the hotel almost impossible because the one way street was closed off, as previously noted by another reviewer (when mentioned to the front desk they really didn't seem to care).... Arrived very late at night into Montecatini which didn't matter, there was someone at the hotel to welcome me. So pleased with my room, the oriental décor quite different to the ordinary, but I enjoyed a huge very comfortable bed, a modern functional bathroom, a place to sit within the room, plus a huge balcony which overlooked this popular Italian...
