This hotel is very nice indeed. So nice people work there and even the hotel is older it's kept in reasonable shape. Charming place and location at the park with wonderful outside breakfast. Guests can freely use a beautiful pool garden at a sister hotel a good 10 minutes walk across the city park. Better place than you can expect... More

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this delightful hotel. We like small and friendly hotels and this hotel was the most friendly we have stayed at. I cannot praise the staff enough, so helpful and caring. We had a lovely comfortable room on the top floor with a balcony, views over the park and up to Montecatini Alto. The... More

We chose this hotel for our fortnights stay in Montecatini on the basis of others reviews in which they praised the food and the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel but all noted that the rooms were dated. We found it all to be true. The Mediterraneo, like Montecatini itself, was once stylish and elegant. Now, it is dated and a... More

Absolutely great, perfect Service at a very reasonable price. (depending on the offer of the day). It is a small Hotel, not at all modern, but really charming. The proprietor knows how to run a Hotel and the staff does its best to keep the guests happy.

The breakfast garden in this hotel was a gem as was the breakfast itself. Always lots and lots of fresh fruit. The bedrooms were immaculately clean and although we didnt have a bedroom overlooking the park none the less the room was very good with a very modern bathroom and wonderful shower. The air condition was a bonus. Absolutely no... More

We stayed for 11 days on a half board basis early June. Having requested a Superior room with balcony, we were very pleased with our allocated Room 71 which was on the third floor, overlooking the park and Montecatini Alto beyond. Rooms on the lower floors would have had a restricted view because of the mature trees. The room, which... More

It is lovely to find a family run hotel with rooms individually furnished instead of a multi national where you could be anywhere. Our room was lovely - perhaps showing its age a little - but spotlessy clean with useful air con. Breakfast was in the garden across the road beside the park and it was really nice, peaceful and... We have just returned from a tour of Tuscany, during which we stayed at the Mediterraneo. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was good - we had booked for B&B only, but we ate dinner at the hotel every night. Puddings were delicious. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the garden with plenty of fresh... More

Having just returned from the Hotel Mediterraneo, it was one of the nicest hotels that my wife and i have every stayed in. The rooms were airy and comfortable, the bathroom was surperb with twin basions and an excellent shower. We were on half board and we found the food very good. The staff were very pleasant as were the... More

I absolutely fell in love w this hotel. It is located in the walking distance from the little cafes and the heart of the town. The rooms are very cute and the service is the best. The owner family are really friendly and they do whatever they can to help for comfort. Overall, i would definetely advise this hotel to... More
