My boyfriend and I loved this seriously beautiful hotel located at the heart of Montecatini. The rooms were bright and colourful, and the view from our window overlooking the Tuscan hills was pretty amazing. There is a charming traditional italian style to Minerva Palace… we especially enjoyed all the interesting art that covered the walls in the main hall and... More

After reading all the positive reviews about the Minerva, I was shocked when I walked in. Really dated furnishings, dark rooms with no views. Very small rooms, small bathroom. Breakfast ordinary. The only good thing is the location in this small town. Main square, restaurants and shops around the hotel. Staff is friendly. I would not stay there again though.

Although a little outside of Florence, staying at the Hotel Minerva Palace comprised one of the happiest portions of our trip to Europe. As if straight from my perfect vision of Italy, the hotel was simply beautiful with an elegance that never stopped amazing me. The furnishings were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were elegant. The hotel restaurant... More

This is a nice friendly hotel with a cozy ambience if you're staying with family. Loved the room decor, a bit of traditional styling. Food was yum. The people at the reception were warm and friendly. Though we stayed just one night as part of the COSMOS tour group, it was a nice relaxation from all the other hotels in... More

Stayed here on a Cosmos tour and found this hotel to be a uniquely European style old world charm hotel. The rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable and we had a balcony-oh yes!!!!-love to have a balcony with fresh air coming in to room and to be able to sit outside. However decor is slightly dated but seems to... More

This is an old school European hotel located only a block away from the central square in Montecatini. The room is dated but comfortable. Fortunately the shower is updated and modem. Breakfast is nice.

We stayed 1 night in August 2014. Never heard of Montecantini but pleasantly surprised. This hotel was very close walking distance to the piazza. Shops close early but some open late near the piazza. Rooms small but clean. Free wi-fi and very good breakfast. I WOULD DEFINITELY stay again.

I stayed twice in June 2012 and June 2014 for ~4 nights. It has a reasonable and affordable price. Besides the staffs are very helpful and have excellent service mind. I called to ask to change the rooms for a couple of days before checking in. They helped us and figured everything out for us nicely. The breakfast has variety... More

This a a very quaint hotel. It may be a bit dated, but the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Within easy walking distance of the train station, shopping and restaurants. Franco at the front desk was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good, the 2 dinner meals I ate were fair. Venture out, there are some very good places... More
