Food not suitable for vegetarians, bus dropped us off quite a way from the hotel. Hotel is in the red light area. Ask for a Montecatini shopping card as you get money off and two for ones in most places.

Comfy beds, nice food, cheap drinks and friendly staff-such a shame that the bathroom(s) are so small as the rest of the place is very nice. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily during our stay. We also visited on a National holiday as Barbara H did. Please note that thanks to the local police, the National coaches now... Visited this hotels in August 2014' on a National coach holiday, took my 17 year old niece who had never been abroad before. The hotel gave you the feeling of old Italy, the staff were very nice, room was small but clean. Food was lovely. My niece absolutely loved everything about it.

We stayed for four nights in this hotel. We arrived at about 10.15 pm unpacked quickly and sat outside on the terrace at the back of the hotel which had plenty of tables and chairs. Apparently some of the rooms had a balcony - ours didn't which was ok as we didn't spend much time in our room. It was very... More

Remembering that this is only a 3 star hotel I don't think there was much to complain about, although maybe we just struck lucky as our room was big and airy with a big bathroom and also had a lovely balcony from which you could see the hills off to the right. I was there as part of a National... More

Stayed in this Hotel on a National Holiday. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel. The staff were very helpful. The lift was small but as a 65+ man I found walking up to the second floor no problem. Like downstairs the room was dated and paint work blue. The room was a double and a fair size. The... More

I stayed here for six days and nights on a National Coach holiday recently, was put off when the coach stopped in the dark at night raining hard and said we had to walk as coach was unable to drop us at our hotel, then it took ages to check in and get up to our room on 3rd floor... More

Stayed here while on a coach trip to Tuscany. Made for a basic base with decent grub and free bar on an evening. Didn't see it during the day due to trips out and about but it served its purpose and the staff were friendly and happy to serve seconds at dinner should you need anymore after 5 courses. It... We travelled with a coach party to this delightful family run hotel. It is located in a side road up which tour buses cannot go and thus one must be prepared to walk with suitcases some 250 yards to the hotel entrance. The small lift to all floors was tiny and accommodates two with luggage ... well just about! My... More
