Just returned from a 7 night stay in Tuscany, making our homebase the Grand Hotel Tettuccio. From this small town we used the trains to see Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terra, and other small Tuscan Villages along the train line. The hotel looks just like the website, however they must have used a wide angle lense! That's okay, rooms in... more

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. It is a great location for the town and has parking, which is a big plus. We had a suite, which had incredible views of the countryside and Montecatini Alto. There are no baths in this hotel-only showers, which was fine for a quick trip, but you might want a bath for... more

Our first night in Italy.......frazzled from a long flight...... dissappointed to say the least in the features of the room. There was mold in the dark, poorly lit shower and the ancient hair dryer had a hole in is such that it required wrapping in a towel to be able to use. It would really have been nice had the... more

Hotel is 'alright' at best, certainly does not deserve a 4-Star rating. This was pre-booked by a friend for a wedding trip, would not return. more

We stayed in this Hotel in Oct'08 and liked it so much we returned in May with friends who had listened to our endless praise, so we were a little apprehensive as to how they would like the Hotel - Well, they couldn't stop raving about it and we felt exactly the same, I guess it's the elegance, the welcoming... more

The hotel was conveniently located near the spas. The room was adequate, but in need of updating. Our stay was comfortable, but certainly not what one expects with a 4-star rating. more

This hotel was aboslutely as nice as it looked on the internet. Glamour, nice staff and very good location. From here You can walk to the trainstation( s), to the "funicolare", take a walkk in the beautiful park or just go for shopping or a nice meal. more

Unlike some of the previous reviewers we had a really good experience at this hotel. We booked late and got excellent rates for a one night stay. The staff were extremely helpful and let us check in early. We were given a lovely room at the front with air conditioning that worked efficiently! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and was... more

This was an overnight stop on a tour, so there wasn't much time to sample everything that the hotel had to offer. Rooms did appear to vary from quite impressive rooms on the 1st floor to what could only be described as 'the servants' quarters' on the third floor. Even the glamourous artworks on the walls ceased after the Ist... more

Had no security problems at all. Shutters and windows both lock well. Town is very safe feeling, nice to walk around in. Plenty of shops, great setting. Across the street from a lovely park. A very nice break from the congestion of Florence. A 45 minute drive from Pisa. Dining room had a lovely terrace. Rooms had large bathrooms, comfortable... more
