It was like a travel to the past. Maybe round 50's or 60's, but not sure which century. Old fashioned rooms and furniture. Large group of Canadian aged couples may be celebrating their golden weddings. Waiters in front of their retirement making bitter faces when trying to address them in English. Anyway: clean rooms, good but not varied food, good... More

The great staff is really trying hard to keep this old relic alive. Everything is dated, elevator, bathrooms, furniture, overall décor etc. etc. Fortunately the room was clean, the breakfast was OK, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. I have been to many hotels all over the world, but this not a 4-star hotel. It may have been... More

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are big, clean and comfy, same goes for the bathroom. Chiara and Sign. Michele at front desk are absolutely the nicest, most helpful hotel staff I've ever come across. I didn't rate it higher because there was some construction going on, even though I wasn't affected, some of my guests were,... More

Good hotel, maybe not 4 stars. We had a superior room, which was ok. For a four star, a second elevator should be a must. In september (when we were there) a lot of groups (busses) are coming there, and that make it sometimes a little bit noisy. Very nice terras to take your apero. Food was ok (not excellent,... More

Arrived today after a rather disappointing two nights in another hotel during our organised tour of Italy and what a delight 😊 room is comfortable although we are able to hear next door neighbours. Only one small lift but hadn't presented a problem yet. We have had a delightful evening meal in quite beautiful dining area. Staff are friendly and... More

Stayed at this hotel for a few nights during a coach trip to Tuscany. First impressions where what I was expecting. Then came a problem, one small lift to all floors. We where on a higher level so we needed the lift but alas once the suit cases were in there was no room for us. One of the staff... More

What I like - location. What I dislike - everything else. Tiny room with horrible bathroom. Bad food and careless stuff. Breakfast table booking for selected italian guests only. Sometimes there was no table available for breakfast. Dirty public areas. I definitely do not recommend.

We stayed here as part of a tour of Italy, so did not choose the hotel ourselves. It has a lovely exterior, and we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony looking out front which was pleasant. The staff were very helpful. Our room was large and spacious with a kettle but no tea or coffee which... More

The hotel is located near the middle of town, just up from the main Plaza and main shopping street. The building is old style, colonial and had been modernized inside. The reception area is quite large and there are plenty of places to sit. Check in was fast and friendly. Wifi is free but get the code before you go... More
