This hotel did not live upto the previous reviews. When I was going to book this trip, I researched the hotel on the internet and photos are very deceiving. The front of the hotel is accurate but for the rest of it, the rooms are very dated and a disgrace. The maintenance of the hotel is something out of faulty... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week with famiy and friends as part of a tour. It was excellent. Such wonderful, friendly staff. We got to know some of them quite well over the week and they gave us so many laughs. Rooms were spotless, fresh towels every day and bedlinen changed every second day. Hotel is very convenient... more

We booked this hotel with a degree of trepidation because of earlier reviews. We need not have worried! The hotel was very clean, the food was very well cooked and tasty and the hotel overall was excellent value for money. The downside was the fact that our room had a bathroom in need of redecoration - even though the room... more

We were concerned about this hotel from the reviews we read before our holiday. We didn't need to be! The staff at this hotel were friendly, efficient and attentive. Every meal we had was really good, fresh cooked food. Not a lot of choice but always a good fish dish which pleased me. A typical Italian breakfast. The room we... more

Our room had scuffed walls, stained carpet, antiquated plumbing; poor service due to only 3 staff in dining room; terrible food which was monotonous and cold; limited choice of menu and very sparse portions. Took over three hours to serve evening meal. more

Very clean and staff friendly & helpful. Was expecting a higher standard of evening meal in Italy. No fresh fruit but b/fast was good. Evening meal very poor. Water cistern very noisy in our room waking us before 6. Not impressed. Toilet worked occassionally. There must be better for the price paid! more

On the up side -Very nice hotel well situated for trains to Florence, Pise and beautiful Siena. pretty little town. Very clean and comfortable. Staff pleasant and friendly except at breakfast. On the down side - food not to a high standard. I was with a group - half board basis. Evening meals were very poor. I ate out 5... more

My wife and I are just back from a week's stay which we could not have enjoyed more. The staff at the hotel are all polite, friendly and can't do enough to welcome you. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds.(not always the case in Italy!) with attractive balconies. The hotel is on quite... more
