The room overlooking the pool, was spacious and clean with a good sized bathroom. On arrival Giusy made us very welcome and helped arrange car hire and also suggested places to visit. Filomena on reception was also very friendly and helpful. Valery at the pool tried to ensure that everyone was looked after. Special mention for Lisa the waitress as... More

We stayed here 2 nights as part of a Cosmos tour. We had a room "in the other buidling" (there is the main hotel and then the "other building across the road". Rooms were very small and you could barely turn around in the bathroom HOWEVER, since we only slept in those rooms, i have no other complaints. There was... More

Nice hotel room. The windows had a set of shutters over them which were able to be locked overnight or when one was out, which still allowed fresh air to circulate through the room. if this option was not needed, then the windows could secured without the shutters. Nice hotel reception and foyer are with plenty of comfortable, quiet setting... More

Only there for an overnight but what beauty and luxury! The dinner and breakfast were delicious. There is an outdoor pool, beautiful patio, many lovely sitting rooms and small lounge. Everything was elegant!

The rooms are decent sized but the furniture and carpeting need replacement. The bathroom shower had folding door which either folded on you while showering or if pushed out let all of the water onto the floor. Had a meal that half the crowd of 40 would not eat because the chicken was not cooked. I enjoyed the lasagna and... More

Booked 3 nights with Expedia. I only have 2 complaints. The windows don't have blackout curtains. The spotlight shines through the windows like search lights. The mattress is a bit firm for my taste. However, they a great team of staff member to provide great support for the guest.

Let’s call this place out for what it is, a concession, a markdown, a compromise. For those selecting Montecatini as a destination, Settentrionale Esplanade is already only average. As for those forced here as part of a tour package, get ready for disappointment. Like a Michael Bay movie, outside of the pretty sunset and attractive passing women, there’s very little... More

While I'm not clear why you would go to Montecatini (tho supposedly it's a "spa" town) if you're there, this hotel is nice enough but with very tiny (and dark) rooms. My single room (#253 in the main hotel) had a lovely view out to the front piazza, but only about 75 watts of total lighting. Once my suitcase was... More

I recently stayed at this hotel Half-Board on a Travel Department Holiday from Dublin. I have to say it was the most disappointing holiday I've been on. The Classic Tuscany tour (which was not cheap considering it was the end of the season) was let down by the poor quality of the food and the aged dusty hotel. Dinner time... More
