We stayed for 2 nights and discovered that rooms can vary, as some are larger than others, and may have an impact on what your bathroom is like. Fortunately, we had a larger bathroom and our room had shutters that opened up onto a balcony that overlooked the street. Our bath had a shower/tub combo that had one glass panel.... More

This hotel, where I stayed for two nights and days, gives a somewhat imperial impression, with its grand entrance. But after a short while you encounter reality, if not at least when enter your room and find quite poor conditions in almost every sence of the word; the most simple kind of bed, a very narrow bathroom, surprisingly thin walls,... We stayed only 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very professional and courteous. The location is great, right next to a park. There is a nearby street market in the evenings. Also downtown is a short pleasant walk where you will find wonderful shops and cafes. We were... More

I enjoyed staying at this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again if there were no other lodging options available. I can only give it a 3 out of 5 rating. The piazza outside the main building is quite nice and there is a gelateria on one side that was excellent. There is a café on the other... More

A cosy hotel, but needs improvements, free wi-fi in lobby only. My room was small with no balcony and was on the corner of the building which was noisy. The bathroom was pathetically small and not much space. The safe box was not even secured to anything just lying on the tabletop. Breakfast was cold buffet and very disappointing and... More

We had a metal post large bed. The shower was large but for the rest of the bathroom I did not know you could get that much stuff in... More

We booked room with balcony but unfortunately didnt get the balcony, we did get large window which was nice, but balcony would have been better ( to be fair we didnt complain,) Good sized pool, with lifeguard, nice garden around pool. Some trepidation following Tripadvisor reviews but while our twin room was a little tired, beds were comfortable and hot water was plentiful. Indeed any tired paintwork was made up for by a warm welcome from the restaurant team during our one week stay at the Settentrionale Esplanade with Irish travel firm Travel Department. Meals were more than adequate with a... More

I stayed in this hotel in June and was allocated the annexe which is across the road from main hotel which makes you feel 2nd class citizen straight away. Food very poor with v ery little choice. Three long tables in our dining room everyone together like old fashioned wedding. Meal times very noisy experience with waiters taking plates as... More
