We visited this hotel with a group and just loved it. The hotel is in a great location! You can sit for hours outside on the balcony and just people watch. But if you want to do more, your location gives you so many choices...visit shops, pubs, parks, so much with this location. The hotel has older architecture--Tuscan Style. This... More

Traveling with a group (50+) is always interesting. Our first night here, our 'assigned' room was really unacceptable. Stuffy, dirty, moldy, dim, etc. etc. After mentioning our discomfort to our tour guide, she got us a new room by the next night (Ambra was amazing!). New room was cleaner, more spacious, better bathroom, better lighting, just better all the way... More

We spent a week here in September 2013. The rooms were basic but clean and adequate for 3 star. The food was plentiful and very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us, close to the centre of town and the railway station. We travelled to Florence, Pisa and Viareggio and various other... More

Regarding it`s a three star hotel we didn`t expect much, but the rooms weren`t really pleasant to stay in - clean, but cold, with dark green coloured walls which was a bit depressive and the bathroom was awful - dark, tiny and uncomroftable at all. I would say it all needs repairing or maybe just refreshing not to look so cold... More

We travelled to Tuscany in November 2012 and stayed at this hotel for three nights. The trip was organinized by an agency so we couldn't choose the hotel ourselves. We didn't feel comfortable staying at this hotel. It definitely needs renovation. The room was small with a small bathroom and it smelt unpleasantly. There was no heating in it, the room... More

First things first, it is a 3 star hotel and you cannot expect more of it. That being said, the room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The restaurant has delicious dinner courses in great portions, the location of the hotel is great (right in the downtown district) but the best thing was the service. EVERYONE was super... More

I stayed at this Hotel for three nights last week. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is very nice and just in the center of the city, near also to the Spa establishments. My room was clean and large with a balcony facing on the main street and with every kind of comfort. The bathroom was... More

We stayed at this hotel with a coach load of friends and found the staff very friendly and helpful. The owners were more than helpful and were available and seen by guests more often than not. The rooms could do with a facelift and some more modern facilities and were quite small, but otherwise very clean. There is a very... More

Having read reviews I entered this hotel dreading what I was going to find, however I was very pleasantly surprised. I agree that rooms are very dated and a bit like cell block H, noise from outside does keep you awake at night - sirens wailing, football fans celebrating and motor bikes roaring but it won't be every day that...
