Location overlooking new town square was very good, got you involved with the local nightlife, which was family orientated. Very good food. Room was clean and had most things you needed, except there was no tea or coffee facility. This is an excellent base to explore Tuscany or to relax and unwind.

We stayed here 4 nights with our tour group. The rooms were nice, simple. I thought the showers had great pressure, but the sink didn't. The staff was great! Food was descent. The rooms get warm, don't cool off till afternoon. Maybe they are conserving.. The location is great, can get loud at night with being on the square. The... More

This was a truly exceptional experience totally unexpected and very enjoyable. The staff in this hotel are unique and thats only part of the compliments i wish to express. From reception to cleaning and especially restaurant staff all were outstanding. I have to single out restaurant staff in particular "Mariano " and his colleague "Wilson" 100% attentive at all times... More

Before going I was quite worried due to the bad reviews, people said the rooms were dark, food awful and staff were impolite but I couldn't disagree more! If you find the room to dark all you have to do is open the shutters and the whole room is illuminated with natural light! The food was fine! (with the exception... More

We stayed here with a tour group. The meals were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the key was needed to activate the lights...took us a few minutes to figure it out. Nice open area off the bar. Lovely pool area. We had a cooking lesson one afternoon which was fun. Great place to stay and take day trips... More

Myself and my husband have just returned from a holiday in Tuscany, we went with the Travel Department. There Rep. Alessandra was absolutely fabulous, she made our holiday effortless. The hotel was great. The staff especially Marinio and Wilson and Davide in the diningroom were very accommodating. The food was italian style and very tasty. The hotel is in the... More

My husband and I spent a week with Travel Republic in this lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. Always greeted with a smile. They made our week in Tuscany most enjoyable.

The lobby and restaurant are gorgeous! The room itself was dingy and had really really poor water pressure in the shower. But, the people at the hotel were the ABSOLUTE best ever. So nice. So accommodating. Great great great people everywhere! The cleaning staff, the front desk, and most of all the waiters (Mariano, Wilson, and Davide were stellar). The... More

We came here with a tour in the 28th of july. The food was brilliant and my sister is allergic to gluten and milk and the hotel gave her a 'special' menu wherw she could choose what is good for her. When she had a problem we talked to the waiters and they were very very helpful and really nice.... More

This is a 4 star Hotel in Montecatini which Gate1 booked us into for our one week stay. We arrived in June 2014 while the front piazza was under construction. We had a view of the front and unfortunately we could only see the construction. It will be beautiful when finished. Our only complaint was there was no accommodations for... More
