We stayed at the Manzoni Hotel for 5 days in May / June 2009. The room was nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance from downtown Montecatini and most major attractions. The dinner was good, although not spectacular. The breakfast did its job. We did enjoyed our stay and would certainly... more

Stayed from May 23rd -30th. Clean nice room ,quiet no problems. Staff very helpful, even finding train times for trips. Local train to Florence 5 min walk 3.50 euros each way. Did day trips to Lucca, Pisa,Rome,Venice. Would stay here again. Differcult to find on first day due to to one way streets. more

I was at the Hotel Manzoni last April with my family & part of a group. I was very satisfied with all services and staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, good moderate buffet breakfast and tasty dinner. I will be back to Montecatini as I fell in love with this place and for sure I will go back... more

Stayed here for 3 nights on a tour. The restaurant was awful. The desk attendant refused to be helpful in any way. It rained one night, and we were not on the top floor, but our ceiling leaked on the dresser and the bed anyway. The only way this place stays in business is because they advertise to the tour... more

There must be TWO parts to this hotel. The new, pretty rooms you see on the website, and the older, awful rooms that we got stuck with (part of a tour). The shower leaked and flooded our bathroom, the bed and pillows were awful. The rooms had not been updated in a very long time, and just a let down... more

Recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed. The hotel was dirty and obviously needs updating. The food was not that great especially at breakfast when we were served the previous nights desert. Dirty linens on the table and some of us were given dirty napkins. Also, the food was not that great, which was a let down as... more

This was a package tour for a week in November 2007. The room was clean and large. The food was great. The wait staff excellent. Hotel situated to walking distance to the center of town. We found everyone helpful at the front desk. I would stay there again and would recomment it to anyone. more

The Hotel Manzoni was a beautiful place to stay. It had a lovely patio and was very quiet. However, some rooms located on the street side were somewhat loud. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful with directions, etc. The food was very good and the waitstaff very friendly. Rooms were small but very clean and... more

We stayed at the hotel Manzoni Sept 5 - 11 and found it a little shabby. The room was okay, bigger by Italian standards with a nice bathroom. However, we didn't find it terribly clean. One day (Sunday) the room was not cleaned at all. The bed was made, however our used towels were just folded and put back out and... more

I was part of a large group tour -- stayed here summer 2007 for 2 nights. We were all very pleased. The town is small and beautiful, the hotel right in the heart of it - very walkable. The staff was friendly, breakfast quite good, and the rooms very comfortable. A few quirks: air conditioning does not operate overnight so... more
