Went there for two days in october.Montecatini is a town where bus tourers leave their customers. So the level of the hotels is quite average and dedicated to mass bus tourism. The mansoni hotel is quite average with an older look and older standards .You can go to stay one or two days.Breakfast is good ,food is middle average. Our room was... More

This hotel is about 1h away from Florence. Hotel is old, but they are renovating it. We stayed one night at this hotel. Our room was in the first floor, above the entrance. It was fairly large and renovated with new windows and LCD TV. Room was very clean. Bathroom was not renovated. On the ceiling was a black mold... More

This hotel caters to groups which I was in and locals, thus only Italian TV - no CNN etc. We were in the 700 building - our room had AC but it couldn't go below about 78 F/ 24?C or so. Got up each morning sweating -ugh! Breakfast was mediocre, dining room warm. The hall to our building had many... More

We stayed here in August 2013 for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The Manzoni is an excellent base and we particularly liked that it had a diverse clientele with hardly any other Brits there, therefore felt like a complete break. The hotel was clean and breakfast fine.

I recently came here as part of a tour group. I was impressed with the location but that is where it ends. The room was in horrible need of repairs and painting. The air conditioning did not work, which made for an uncomfortable stay. And the free internet, should have been free, because it didn't work most of the time.... More

Traveled with a group. Room was updated and our balcony overlooked the courtyard. Some of the other rooms were very dated looking. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the courtyard, did not use the pool. The food was not very good. We had a set menu, no fruit, dry meat, lucky we had a salad bar. A nice bar... More

i recently went to this hotel on an educational tour of Italy and it was a great hotel. but, there are some things that weren't very good like how you have to pay for 2 night of WiFi even if you are only staying one night. also when we entered the room we couldn't figure out how to turn on... We travelled to Montecatini with a largish group at the end of March. We arrived mid afternoon when Montecatini was very quiet but it livened up during the evening. The first night we tried the hotel taster menu which was really good value for 20 euros each with wine. Our room was clean but overlooking an alleyway and we were... More

I stayed here recently as part of a group -the rooms were comfortable if a little noisy, we had a double bed, tv, hairdryer, fitter wardrobe an over bath shower in our bathroom. Breakfast was a little disappointing -there was no fresh fruit and waiting staff were a little techy. We ate in the hotel one evening and had their... More
