I stayed here as part of a coach trip exploring Rome and the Tuscany region. It was the ideal place to stop in terms of location, as it is close to both Florence and Pisa. The room was smaller and slightly more basic than what you may see in large chain hotels, but there was plenty of space for my... More

We stayed here as part of a coach tour & having stayed in a very poor hotel in Jesolo the last time we were in Italy, we were a bit apprehensive. We needn't have been bothered. The hotel wasn't one of the usual modern, tasteless buildings you would normally encounter. It was full of history, character & was a pleasure... More

Let's begin with the staff. The manager of the hotel was particularly friendly and welcoming. However, I must alert potential visitors to the seemingly infamous waitress of the hotel's restaurant. She is most impolite, and everything for her seems to be too difficult to handle. As for the food, if you're expecting to have an interesting and varied breakfast each... More

I recently visited this hotel for five days. The room was of a reasonable size and the pool was nice and well kept. We did, however, have a lot of problems with the hotel. When we arrived, our door was broken so all our cases were locked in the room. It took upwards of five hours for the issue to... More

In the begining of May 2014 I accomodated for 3 nights big Bulgarian group in Maestoso Hotel. Very clean, comfortable, rich breakfast for Italian standart, next door to the Police Office. The owner of the hotel and the manager Michele were perfect and helpful. My warm regards to you from Sofia. Vi ringrazio e a presto, Boris

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and found it very cosy and clean. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, breakfast is rich (for Italian hotels), dinner perfect (especially primo piatto) and location central (3 minutes from main square and train station). What more one can desire? Oh yes, the staff is very polite and helpful.

Our family stayed here for a week in july and had a great time at this hotel. Room: We had a room with balcony overlooking the pool. The room itself was ok, and the aircondition was good. There was a small fridge that you could use. Location: The hotel was located three blocks from the main street, and a short... More

Excellent stay all round The owner of this hotel cant do enough to help make you stay comfortable! Location was great just off the main street but on a leafy quiet road walking distance to everything including a very convenient train service to Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Swimming pool was a bonus. Bedroom was comfortable but the mattress was exceptional!

I must say I really enjoyed this hotel and it suited our purposes to have a mid-budget accommodation as a base for our excursions to Pisa, Florence and many other attractions in northern Tuscany. The owner Pietro was extremely helpful with both our requests at the hotel and recommended great places to visit in excellent English. Most of the staff... More
