The hotel did not have hot water. Yes, the shower was cold. They also only had internet in the lobby. In the morning, while I washed a white skirt in the sink the water suddenly turned to brown, staining an expensive piece of clothing. The bathroom is also too small; furniture belongs to the 80's, no fridge, poor breakfast, nobody... More

The biggest complaint I have about this hotel is the security. We were told not to take our key out of the hotel and to leave it with the front desk. I'm glad I broke that rule-- upon returning to the hotel later that night, there was a tray of hotel keys simply lying there on the front desk. There... More

We stayed there for a night. The hotel was confortable and clean. The room was small but it is okay for couple of days. THe stuff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicioud. The around and the nature are very peaceful. It was nice to stay in this area. We really had fun.

This hotel has a tiny elevator that is sufficient for taking your luggage up to your room. If you are with a large group, like we were, you have to wait your turn. After that, just use the stairs. The breakfast was good and wi-fi is available in the lobby area. Like most places we stayed, the wi-fi signal is... More

We arrived at the hotel Piccadilly that looked ok from the outside. Inside of the hotel looks like there was several different "styles". The problem is not how old the hotel is but the interior. Elevator can take not more than 4 people (not to heavy)- but without the luggage or not more than a small bag. We tried to... More

We stayed here on 29.-30.August.2012 for 2 nights. The hotel is evry close to the Montecatini central streets which are quite alive until midnight. The shops and the restaurants are open until 11:00 p.m. Montecatini is definitely the right place to stay in Florence unless you want to be in the heart of the historic city. Since in the center... We came here on a holiday, with a group of about 20 people. The organisation came frequently to this hotel, so we received a warm welcome. Immediately we saw that the hotel rooms, hallways and elevator were pretty outdated but well kept. The most interesting part of this hotel is the water system. The water is pumped through the hotel... More

Never traveled overseas before so I wasn't sure what to expect from this small hotel just outside of Florence. Unfortunately they had no hot water when we were there which made the experience a little bit unpleasant. Most of us just used the sink to wash our hair, etc. The rooms were average, tile floors throughout which some people might... More

For a 3 star hotel in a spa town, this hotel needs work. It is on a residential side street, 5-10 minute walk to the shops. The rooms are small and crowded. The bathroom is miniscule. There was no shower "inclosure" so the water ran all over the floor. The blinds were broken in my room so I have no... More

The hotel is close to the center of Montecatini terme which is a good town as a base for your exploration of northern Tuscany (approx 1h from Florence&Pisa). The breakfast was ok, nothing special, could be bettter. I was freezing in my room, I slept with my pj's&jumper and the blanket and still was very cold. When I asked at... More
