We have had the most amazing time at the Grand Hotel and La Pace Spa! The architecture was gorgeous and the interior was elegantly designed. The rooms were spacious (Mediterranean tasteful) and the hotel service was making us feeling very comfortable. The Internet was fast. The inviting pool area was big, surrounded by the amazing vegetation and landscape. I could... More

The hotel is just so beautiful, it's massive and there is so many beautiful features you have to examine! We came with a 2 & a 7 year old which I wouldn't recommend as there is no play area, entertainment and eating areas are very formal. They had fun at the pool and exploring Florence, Piza and other great nearby... More

What a delightful and beautifully situated hotel. We were treated upon arrival to professional and courteous service that was maintained throughout our stay. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in a surprisingly contemporary fashion. It was very comfortable and proved a pleasant retreat for when relaxing after tours of Lucca or Florence. There was a musty smell that we... More

We stay in mid October in this beautiful city and surprisingly this hotel represents the glamour of a by gone era. Huge areas, huge rooms and antiques. The hotel is the heart of town. Service is provided by a staff that have been working proudly there for decades. Definitely if you go to Montecatini Terme stay there. Plus free parking,... More

Although this hotel is not a 5 Star by American standards, it is a beautiful old hotel located in the heart of Montecatini. Upon arrival we were quickly checked in and found our room (159) in the north wing of the hotel. Our room had an updated bathroom and the bedroom area had a very tall ceiling with crown moldings... September 2014. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff, no hassle with booking in, We were escorted to our room which was adequate, not overly spacious but clean. The staff at reception were most helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, local maps with rail timetables etc were given for wherever your destination was to be... More

This is not a five star hotel. We booked this 7 night holiday through a trusted travel company and were their first English guests to stay at the Hotel. On our arrival we found the reception staff unhelpful. We were given two alternaive rooms, because what we had paid for (deluxe double room with balcony or terrace) was not available.... More
