Hotel found easily with GPS. Large, attractive decor and very clean bedroom and en suite. Very large, comfortable bed. Tea and coffee-making facility in bedroom. Carlo very helpful with parking and restaurant suggestions. Francesca charming and helpful with directions. Perfectly adequate breakfast. No dislikes. The following night on the coast we paid exactly twice this price for not so good... More

Once you find this place, and it's not easy, you will enjoy the simplicity of the rooms, adorned with rotating multicolor shower lights. Rooms are clean and spacious, the baths very nice and the beds are ok but could be more comfortable. Big windows allow you to enjoy the street scene and fresh air. I like the "green" touches, like... We stayed in the Smart hotel Bartolini in september. The rooms are beautiful and fantastic bathrooms. The staff and Carlo the owner are very nice and helpful. the breakfast is very good with a great selection of food. The hotel is a short walk from town and also the funiculare to Montecatini Alto, the old town.We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 7 nights in Smart Hotel Bartolini away from hustle and bustle of big tourist spots such as Florence. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff really friendly and helpful. Handy central location in Monticatini which is a really lovely town. We had no issues with AC or Wi-Fi both worked perfectly.

Our room's air conditioning was stuck at 25 C (77 F); it would not get any cooler. We asked about it and was told that a technician would look at it. We tried to sleep with the window open for cool air, but were greeted with the outside noise including bikes, scooter, cars and people. The next day it was... More

We stayed at Bartolini for 2 nights after we spontanouesly needed to change our accomodation. We were welcomed to a very friendly atmosphere with nice, well-sized and modern-equipped rooms. Before checking in we were offered to see the bedrooms and corresponding bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and had a xl shower with a nice colour changing LED-installation. After checking in... Our hotel owner (Carlo) was amazing. He showed us around the area and gave us almost a free tour. The internet worked very well and was also complementary, the breakfast was AMAZING and the cappuccino and apricot croissants were worth getting up for they were so good. The bathroom was very modern and up-to-date with a very functional and modern... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in July and it was a perfect trip. The staff were kind, helpful and couldnt do enough for me to make my stay enjoyable. The room was clean, big enough and the bathroom was lovely.

Lovely little hotel, recently renovated with a nice mix of modern and traditional. We had room 201, Tuscan Suite, which had a separate dressing room with wardrobes, dressing table, mirror, TV. Bedroom was large with a fridge which was handy. Lovely high ceilings, all freshly plastered and painted and a beautiful large bathroom with a great, powerful shower. Fresh towels... More

We just got home from our first trip to Italy, visiting Florence, Tuscany and Rome. To make our base in Tuscany, we chose to stay in Montecatini. It is central to other places like Lucca and Pisa, and not as costly as Florence. It seems that many tour companies put groups up in this small town also which has numerous... More
