My third stay in 3 years, I always enjoy coming back. Limitations on the internet as not too reliable, but I still got done with what I needed. The breakfast was great! Loved the cook your own soft boiled egg. Not your American breakfast, but we are in Italy! I was nit hungry as there was much to choose fro... More

The rooms were great, spacious and very comfortable. The wifi in the rooms were horrible with lost connection all the time. It was clear the router couldn't handle many connections since it was alot better in the early morning. Hotel has a very luxurious feeling which is helped by a very friendly and supportive staff. Location was very good, it... More

The hotel is actually nice, staff very polite, but if you need a reliable Internet connection, avoid room 301 (and I suspect all 01 rooms on any floor) like the plague. The hotel's own WiFi barely reached into this room, even keeping the door open won't help. Unless you don't mind taking your laptop into the hallway and surfing the... More

A lovely family run hotel with character and charm. We were due to land on Stromboli but the ferry turned back as the mistral whipped up the waves and it was too rough to land and so needed a hotel near to the port and this came out well on Trip Adviser so we booked it on line. The manageress... More

The hotel itself appears quite modern with an artistic stairwell and artwork in the breakfast area. We did, however, find the room uncomfortable with a very firm bed and air conditioning that seemed to have a mind of its own. The view from the window was directly in to some persons living room, which is unavoidable given the central location... More

Good value friendly hotel, though a bit faded. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is within walking distance of both the port and the town centre. The castle is also walkable, but some sections of the route are quite steep; we felt it was worth the effort, as the views were good and there was quite a lot to see.

This is a refurbished traditional hotel close to the ferry terminal for the ferries to the Aeolian Islands off Sicily. It feels fresh & funky and the staff are motivated to help & speak good English. I want to especially commend Maria, who tracked down my camera when I left it in a nearby restaurant. Great service Maria and thank... More

We stayed at this hotel as the location was perfect for our ferry ride to Stromboli the next morning and previous reviews were quite good. The reception staff were very courteous and helpful but the room was old and tired and they had some trouble with the power which repeatedly went off in the evening. This occurred at least 6... Unfortunately I couldn't stay at the hotel although I would have really loved to because I didn't catch my flight to Sicily. However, the management of the hotel was so unbelievably understanding of my situation and forthcoming which I have never experienced so far from any other hotel. Therefore I not only want to thank the management but also want... More

La Chicca is a great place! The rooms are gracious and very comfortable, the staff is warm, professional and polite, it has most the comforts of a top of the line hotel at an incredible price..a great bargain, I have stayed here numerous times throughout the years and I love it! It is like a boutique hotel. Centrally located and... More
