likes: clean, the air-con and WiFi (but the Internet only outside the room) worked, close to the bus and the train station dislikes: poor breakfast (not even a fresh croissant), the receptionist asked me if I was married and tried to pick me up, the zone is full of immigrants and it is not very safe, especially at night.

The room was quite nice with hardwood furniture and a surprisingly comfortable bed and pillow. On the downside the Bathrooms are small, our shower doors was broken so they did't close completely and the shower itself wasn't all that clean. The rooms have aircon which is a must in Italy in July, and the hotel is just a 5min walk... More

This hotel has everything you need (the basics): the room and bathroom are nice and fairly spacious, it's close to the metro station (but it's in Mestre) and everything was fine and clean. We got there a little late, and the check-in process was a little informal.. but it's a B&B after all! Breakfast was fantastic, with "unlimited" juice, water,... More

The room was decorated with some very classic and original furniture. The villa itself was well kept and overall things were clean. Bathroom was small but clean as well. Close to the main train station and easily walkable. A few grocery markets and restaurants around the corner on the main road. Bed was big and comfortable. Staff were friendly enough... More

Villa Podgora is situated right in Venezia Mestre, about a 10 min train ride to Venice. The hotel was cheap for the area (much cheaper than staying in Venice!) and a quick 5 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was included in our rate. The women who was at the front desk during the day understood much more english... More

I have accidentally been to this small hotel during a visit to Venice with my husband on our first anniversary.I have booked through an online site for two nights before I went and sign the contract saying the first night is charged by the hotel in case of no show.Suprisingly, the train from Milan had cancelled and we could not make...
