The hotel is OK, a little far from Venice on the always overcrowded, awful buses.100 s of nieve tourists are caught every day by threatening, gestapo like bus inspectors, operating in gangs and fining you nearly 60 euros for not validating a ticket. It is a scandal in this city.Anyway back to the hotel, needs updating, over 300 TV channels but not one in English,... The stay at this hotel was really pleasant. The owner and other receptionist were very nice to speak to. The room was nice, clean sheets, large bathroom. Room service replenished the soap and shampoo each day. Breakfast was nice too (be sure to ask for tea or coffee, it is also free, but they brew it elsewhere to ensure that... More

We booked our holiday via British airways package and I am very surprised because that was great. I had the best holiday in my life. We arrived on the 27th of April and in total we have stayed for 2 night. Early check in is subject to availability. The Lady (I think she is the owner of the hotel) was... More

Stayed here with 3 friends for 3 nights, the hotel was very clean, the beds very comfortable and the owners extremely helpful, the breakfast was as expected typical continental, I didn't use the air conditioning preferring an open window and since I was at the rear there was no traffic noise. Good shower, toiletries and hair dryer, didn't try the... More

Stayed 4 nights as part of BA package. Good location, 25min bus (15) ride from Marco Polo airport, and close to bus stop (7) into Venice. You could buy tickets for a full range of public transport at kiosk near hotel. Room was a good size, but dark. Furniture a bit old fashioned, but again adequate for length of stay.... More

Comfortable, friendly, value-priced hotel in a quiet area in Mestre. The owners, Luca and Lara, are very friendly and extremely helpful. Good food selection for a light breakfast. Quiet, clean, cozy rooms, no elevator, pay for use wifi available. Nice restaurant next to the hotel, Trattoria Amelia; great food, beautiful setting, opens at 20:00 for dinner. To get to Venizia... Pros- - Good location (500 meters from Mestre station) - Good public transportation (Bus 7 for venice main port stops right in front of the hotel) - Clean Cons- - Small room - Room interiors are way too dark (Due to this, we left an expensive wrist watch while packing our luggage back) - wifi could be free

I stayed for 3 nights as part of a BA package. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Mestre station with trains into Venice (an 8 minute run) and both local and long distance services to the rest of Italy. There is a frequent coach service from Mestre station to Marco Polo airport. There is a bus stop 20 metres... More

This hotel is ideally situated near to Mestre Rail Station with a nearby bus stop that allows holiday makers cheap and rapid travel into Venice. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, with a double bed. There were the usual facilities in the room, e.g. TV, hairdryer, fridge, etc. The friendly owner was particularly helpful with suggestions and recommendations.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our cruise and one night after.Getting to Mestre from the airport was easy using the bus.We picked up a map of Mestre from the information desk at the train station and set off on what we thought was a easy 15 minute walk to the hotel...wrong! We followed the map but must... More
