We loved the location--our hotel was right on the Grand Canal and had great views from our balcony. We thought the hotel was lovely, but our room was 86 degrees Fahrenheit when we checked in. When I complained to the front desk, the clerk told me it was because I had opened the door to the balcony. So I closed... More

Really excited to visit Venice however woke up on the first morning with bed bug bites. Asked to move rooms to be told there were none available on the second night. Finally moved rooms on the third night but by then it was too late. The staff blamed mosquitos but we were staying on the 5th floor and never saw... More

It is a good hotel. We were pleased with the hospitality. The hotel is very close to the bus stand for bus number 7. This bus goes to the main Venice town. A 24 hour bus and water-bus pass valid for this bus number 7. If you arrive at the Venice main station take the bus to come to the... More

The room was average sized, a it cramped with all the cases, but ok for a 2 night stopover prior to a cruise, and we were not disturbed at night. Breakfast is average. If you want plain yoghurt you have to ask for it. There is a limited availability of fresh fruit, and for continentals there was meat cheese etc.... More

We stayed for 3 nights after a late train from Rome. We immediately felt very unsafe in the area as men approached us to speak to us. I felt very uneasy in the area. On arrival to the hotel the staff were abrupt and unhelpful. We really needed access to wifi to look at our google maps and contact home... More

My hubby decided to surprise me and take me on a romantic break to Venice for our 20th wedding anniversary. This hotel was quite basis but did the job for what we needed. Not overly impressed with the continental breakfast though. Room was clean, but bed was two singles pushed together, not ideal! Must say though, Venice itself was beautiful... More

Upon arriving at the hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. We got to our room which was basic but more than adequate for a base for Venice, given that we were not planning on spending a huge amount of time there. Bed was relatively comfortable, if a little hard. Bathroom was clean on arrival. Was cleaned daily and fresh towels... More

Great location and stay. Stayed here for 2 nights. Bus going to Venice is right next to the hotel. Central location, there's a shopping complex right next to the hotel and some good Italian restaurants.

Stayed here as part of a tour group during summer. Rooms: very little space to put your suitcase and were very old. Showers were fine. Location: near shops and a supermarket, bus stop very close to hotel takes 20-30min to centre of Venice Very disappointed they had no free wifi! 10euros for 24 hours. Overall I expect you could find... More

Arrived at the Stazione Mestre, train station, walked up the road, round to the right and the hotel was on the left. Easy to book into, cheerful and friendly, helpful staff and nice, air-conditioned room with en suite. No tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely continental breakfast: bread, cheese, meat, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee/tea/juice - help yourself! Not directly in Venice... More
