The hotel looks nothing like it does in the pictures. Spoke to 3 staff members and only one of them was helpful. It was not very clean. The breakfast they serve I would not wish upon my greatest enemy. Mosquitos everywhere, no aircon, but every room has a HUGE and extremely obnoxious and loud metal box on the balcony. The... More

In my opinion, this hotel has numerous problems. First they advertise wi-fi, however the wi-fi is only available in the lobby. They also don't have air conditioning (which they advertised via priceline). If you've been to Italy in June, then you know that air conditioning is a must. The rooms are clean but the bathroom is outdated and extremely old... More

We arrived on the 20/6/2015 booked by Flights and Packages, We arrived by public taxi as the arranged one failed to turn up, on arrival I could see it was a definite health hazard, I saw cockroaches running about in the eating area, when we finally saw the room it was run down the power points were something like I've... Arrived Wed 22nd July and left 2hours after my arrival with my party because we could not believe where we our holiday operators Onthebeach had let us stay! 1st of all it should be called Hostel Ariston and not Hotel Ariston. This is not a 3star hotel, half a star minimum at the most and thats pushing it! The fact... More

First the good things: 1. Helpful front-office staff though at times a bit understaffed (don't like to wait at the reception to pick up your key after a hot, long day outdoors and there's no one at the reception!) 2. Clean beds, sheets and bathroom 3. Good option for a family of four if your budget is not unlimited! And... More

We spent two nights at this hotel, just staying there overnight because of a trip to Venice. There is a bus stop few meters from the hotel, plus a shop where you can buy tickets to Venice, which is really good. Hovewer, our short stay at this hotel was not really pleasant- hot water was not running at all (two... More

We stayed here for over a week in summer. The room was tiny and with four of us and our luggage, there wasn't much space left over to walk around. No plug points in the room unless you unplug the bedside lamps! The bathroom was tiny and there was no hot water after 10. They also turn off the AC... More

Stayed here for the last few days with my dad. Very close to mestre station and there is a bus stop right outside that you can get to mestre or the whole way into venice. Also a shop next door to buy your travel card! The room was fine but it does just come across as a little old, but... More

Average describes it well. Our short stay was comfortable enough. A bus serves nearby to get you into the city and takes roughly 30 minutes depending on your wait. So it's not great for exploring the city for a short stay. But it wasn't a big problem. The style is a bit dated but everything was well cared for and... More

Stayed for one night after finishing a cruise. Good for of loading bags and getting 25 minute bus ride into Venice, which can be horrendously full on return journey! Not much good for anything else, bathrooms are tiny, our feet where in the shower when sitting on the loo. Breakfast is very limited and coffee from the machine is tasteless.... More
