This is purely a hotel to just rest your head after a busy day, it is not somewhere to stay if you want a few hours relaxing in your hotel. The bed and room was clean enough, good shower but that's all. No tea and coffee making facilities ( I have started taking a travel kettle when traveling as this... More

I would concur with previous reviewers about the convenient location of this hotel. Not only was there a bus stop outside the door, there were a number of very pleasant restaurants, cafes, shops, an ice cream parlour, all within walking distance of the hotel in Mestre. I would comment on the Hotel's instructions for getting to the hotel from Treviso... More

Hotel was amazing! Very good location - just 7 minutes by bus (L4) to Venice. Bus stop is opposite to hotel just 45 seconds away! Breakfast was really good - everyone can choose something. Supermarket is just next door so you can buy everything what you need(and saving money - prices in Venice are really expensive example : bottle of... More

Stayed here after we were told the hotel we had reserved was over booked. The original actually being on the island. The hotel was clean and perfectly ok, and a good base if you dont mind having to get the bus in every day. Breakfast was buffet style and very busy, food was fine. Didn't eat there otherwise. We found... More

Having originally booked into the Ambasciatori hotel next door and upon check in was told we would be moved into the Delfino next door. This wasn't a surprise having read this has happened to travellers before. On a Travelzoo deal I was quite surprised when I was in the room. Not Too bad I have to say. Spacious and very... More

I would not recommend staying here unless desperate. Although the facilities are nice, the hotel is on a main street so you can't sleep with all the traffic..even with double glazed windows. The staff are unhelpful and the food is awful. Further more the wifi is dire !! The 15 minute bus ride to venice old town is a pain... More

We booked this trip with an ad from the Times newspaper, now it was only £159 each for flights and hotel so I wasnt expecting too much, but all in all this hotel was ok. A little way away from Venice itself but once we had got a handle on the local buses it was fine. The Delfino was classed... More

Pros: Rooms - Ours was on the 2nd floor, which was really big and very clean. Bed linen and towels were changed everyday. Mini fridge - decent size, you could even fit in 2 litre water bottles in it. Location - 15 mins drive to Venezia main station on bus numbers 4 & 4L. The bus stop is right opposite... More

So we booked a last minute trip to Venice through a travel company, and we were told we were staying in the Ambasciatori hotel. Upon arrival we found out we were actually staying next door at the Delfino. Not a problem as they are run by the same people. Front of house staff were very friendly, good english and very... More

Great location for Venice. Only 10 minute bus ride from right outside hotel to Venice (bus 4L). Room clean, warm & adequate with fridge & lovely shower. Only downside on room was very hard bed which made sleeping almost impossible, felt like we had slept on a stony beach all night!! Next door to hotel is supermarket which is brilliant... More
