We arrived in Venice and this hotel was located away from the canals. The hotel had air conditioning which was a plus. We had requested a bath tub in the room well in advance and still we were put in a room without one. The beds were comfortable. The shower situation was hard to get used to. There was no... More

We arrived on a night train from Rome in Mestre at 5:30am. While we were unable to check in immediately, they were able to get a room prepared for us by 8am, which is hours before normal check in. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of breads, sweets, fresh fruits, teas, and coffees. The hotel... More

Dirty, mouldy bathroom, and mould in the fridge in the room, aircon not working, no iron in the building - yes the whole hotel doesn't have an iron! Breakfast only a host of bready sugary pastries, God help you if you are diabetic or a coeliac, as not even the yogurt was unsugared, the orange juice was powdered, not fresh.... More

Arrived here late on a Thursday night. Very quickly checked in and showed the car park. I'd booked a superior room as there were 3 of us- slight mix up allowed us to very briefly see the regular room too. It was all good but the superior was well worth an extra £30 per night. Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was... More

This hotel was great can not fault it! Stayed for 4 nights from Thurs 23rd July to Monday 27th July after arriving at the awful Hotel Ariston! Booked this hotel straight away and took a taxi here and checked in with no fuss! The bar man was lovely and helpful he also came to my room to help with a... More

Watching the tourists in Venice struggling with their luggage across the bridges and through the narrow streets full of tourists you really wonder why they punish themselves with this "self torture"......... They better book the Apogia Sirio in beautiful Mestre, only twenty minutes by bus from Venice. This hotel knows how to treat their guests! Very good rooms, breakfast and... More

This is a 4 star hotel in Mestre (about 25 min. bus ride from Venice). Love the rooms, the bathrooms, all as expected from a 4 star hotel. The breakfasts-all you can eat- buffets were fantastic! talk about variety and great food. If you are planning to stay all day in Venice, eat a good breakfast that will last you... More

This is what used to be called 'A Commercial Hotel'; a reasonable and not too expensive place to stay for a night or two while passing through. No need for refinements like pool, business centre, fitness stuff or, heaven forbid, room service. We stayed for one night in May as part of a pre-cruise package. It did the job but... More
