If you're coming to Venice then my recommendation is to avoid Mestre altogether and pay a little more to stay in Venice. On arrival at the hotel, all seemed fine. The lady at reception was friendly and sold us some bus tickets and gave us a map. It was when we got to the room we were let down; the... More

Just stayed overnight at this hotel, not sure I will be in a hurry to return. Maybe I got a poor room 503. yes it was clean, quite small and not like the photographs of some of the rooms I have seen on here.Bathroom quite modern, small with a badly positioned tap! Reception staff were fine, breakfast staff on the... More

my mum and i stayed here both before and after our cruise, the staff were kind, considerate and had a good sense of humour even when dealing with difficult rude guests which we observed, they were un phased ,a little more attention to the booking would be helpful as on both occasions we booked a twin room and then had to get... I've just come back from a 4 days visit to Venice. We stayed on the 6th floor so very quite.Rooms were spotlessly clean. Bathroom just needs an update, a little tired but clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them . Nothing was to much trouble. Explained how to get into Venice which was very easy to... More

Spent 3 nights here. Very nice hotel overall, rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was nice. Fairly easy to get to Venice as well, just have to catch the number 2 bus to Venice from the bus stop near the hotel. Only negatives were that there was no shower curtain/door so when showering the whole bathroom floor would be flooded,... More

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights - it was great. Bus stop to the right of the hotel to get to Plaza Roma i.e central old Venice. Bus number 2, 20 mins journey. Hotel breakfast was really good - loads of it and the staff were very nice. The room was nice but we had shower problems... More

Of all our hotels when we stayed in Italy, this was the best. Nice big room, comfy beds and pillows, the shower worked great and so did everything else in the room. We stayed there 3 nights and I enjoyed them, very clean, the people did great, free breakfast was nice and I enjoyed it. However, if you want to... More

Dear guest, Many thanks for your feedback on tripadvisor. We appreciate your positive sentences about staff. Unfortunatly sometimes and expecially in the early moorning, it's not so easy to find public taxis ; so we have to call a private rent a car with driver. Obviously they charge an extra fee for the night service and baggage supplement. We are... More

Location was good, there are shops around to grab some food and some souvenirs. Very glad to see the room was clean tidy and neat. That is very important. Had a 3course dinner, food was good. Will check out tomorrow, till then I can comment on the breakfast..

Hotel Apogia Sirio Venice is a valiant effort to revive a decaying facility. A lot of eye treatments and quick fix appeals have been added throughout the building. The lobby is nice, although over burdened with repeated rows of the same seating arrangements and designs. Which I trust are to accommodate the bus loads of visitors that I seen arriving... More
