The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Well served in a large area a good continental breakfast. The only bad thing was the noise from adjacent rooms and corridors early in the morning. The hotel location is very good, surrounded by restaurants. near train station. not expensive.

I have a two positive things about this hotel: 1. nearness of the railstation; 2. the breakfast. The rest is disaster..a small and dirty room, very old and stinky furniture, additional payment for parking spot. I suggest to find something better!

Room was not yet cleaned when we checked in and it smelled of smoke. We where not given any compensation for the problems it caused us. The rooms were shabby. Breakfast was so-so. Staff was sometimes rude. Internet did not work in all rooms. Would never stay there again.

Worst hotel during our 2 week trip. The rooms were not ready when we arrived late in the afternoon, and when we finally got them they were smelling of cigarette smoke. Unfriendly staff. Small rooms, unclean. Promised wi-fi that didn't work. But the breakfast was good (except for the coffee..).

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in May 2014, and although its not great, its good value for money! Its a lot cheaper than staying in Venice itself, and to be honest, you only really use the hotel as a base for sleeping, most of our time was spent in Venice.... Not brilliant, but certainly not terrible...

There’s an ongoing discussion on Tripadvisor whether to stay in Venice proper or in Mestre. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind commuting to Venice every day, choose Hotel Piave. Location is great – a short walk from the train station, in a quiet alley. Bus stop is around the corner and vaporetto pass is valid on the bus... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is on the mainland and is about 10 minutes away from the main city and attractions but does require a bus/train or taxi to sight see. Mestre is a small town, with some great cafes and restaurants and the train station is about a 10 minute walk from hotel. Don't get confused with... More

We didn't choose this hotel it was chosen for us through a 'mystery getaway' therefore the deal was cheap. This hotel met it's purpose as we slept here and got a breakfast both mornings. It is clean. There is nothing to do there and I wouldn't recommend people to go here unless you were short of cash. I won't be... More
