We arrived at the hotel after 7pm after the hotel check in time. We went across to the restaurant to see if the manager there could help. He was helpful and said that the hotel manager had left our keys with him. The hotel was quite secluded and on a hill so on our first night we decided to eat... More

this hotel remains very quiet and very clean. This is an good compromise for the price and the room. Now, keep away from the attached restaurant that is very low quality. The cook remains so nice but food is low low quality... In addition, morning breakfast was served with "old" bread that making the "whole picture" not very glamorous for... More

We arrived at Como and telephoned to say we would be arriving after 10 pm due to problems travelling .The owner would not answer the telephone . Despite us ringing 7 times. I had to telephone customer services on my hotel booking site to ask him to allow us to check in because we were travelling with a disabled child... More

Hotel is located off a narrow road; so road noise is not a problem but noisy neighbors (other hotel guests) could be a problem if you happen to be unfortunately enough to be staying in a room next to a bunch of noisy inconsiderate! We requested a family room at the time of booking; paid extra for it of course... More

We stayed at this hotel in May 2013 for a week down to Lake Como from Zurich. Booked a standard double room for 2 nights, and found it large, clean, basic and magnificent views of the lake. The staff were very friendly with Antonio at check-in extremely helpful. The hotel has parking so easy if you drive. The room had... More

Stopped here for a couple of nights with a group of 12 adults. We were given a very warm welcome with snacks and wine in the bar. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony giving views down to the lake. It's a good 15 minute walk down to the Lake side and tough going on the way... More

We booked 2 nights in a Junior Suite before finding the less than complimentary Tripadvisor reviews. On reading them, we tried to cancel our booking, but we would have lost our deposit, so we went ahead filled with fear and trepidation! Our suite was incredibly spacious and clean. Basic, yes, but we didn't exactly pay top dollar for it. Breakfast... More

Rooms more cheaply furnished than the impression given by the pictures, however balcony very useful and view splendid. Rooms were cleaned daily very well. Minimum depth of swimming pool at 80cm prevented our 3 year old from using it. Breakfast was ok but spartan and could run empty if you arrived too late. Restaurant quality was below standard for this... More

We booked Sonenga because it looked good nonlinear. What a mistake! When we arrived, we drove up for a look and instantly regretted our decision. There is no way this hotel is 3 star, although it charges like it is. We called to see if we could cancel. He said yes that was fine. The next night during dinner he... More

Stayed at this hotel and still unsure of why I chose it. It is up a hill - don't be walking with any luggage. A taxi should charge (8 Euros - for 5 minutes!) but they charged us 9 because his car was new. Yussef from the hotel will do it for 5 in his pocket. The reception was closed... More
