We stayed at Villa Pina for 1wk 27th April-4th May and have to say what a really enjoyable week it was.We stayed in a sea view room which was certainly worth the upgrade.the sunsets were to die for plus the beautiful views of Capri and Vesuvius.someone commented about the food being the highlight and i totally agree.the food was amazing.Freshly... I stayed at Villa Pina for a week on my first trip to Italy. I wasn't sure what to expect of the hotel with the reviews being so mixed and it carried on that way throughout my trip! We arrived at around 11pm and had dinner waiting for us which was nice since we were the only ones arriving at... More

We wanted a 7 day family holiday to Sorrento for 2 adults and a baby for under £1000, and that is what we got by staying at Hotel Villa Pina on a Thomson Holidays booking. This was amazing value for Sorrento. Clearly there were compromises however we felt that we got tremendous value for money. Hotel Highlights The food in... More

We worried about some of the poor reviews before we stayed here in early October. However, as several reviewers have said that although the hotel is rather tatty; the restaurant is superb! We paid for a seaview and although we got that we were above the rather noisy road, although we did get used to it. The busses to Sorrento... More

If you want swish sterile faceless hotel experiences ,dont go.But if you want traditional old Italy, this is great.Situated out of Sorrento ,its run by a 3rd generation family. We went 1/2 board and found the food excellent.Breakfast is buffet style ,with cereal, cold meats, and pastries, and hot coffee, beautiful views from dining room.Evening meals are 3 course with 3 choices each course.5 star dining... Let's get one thing straight, what you get is what you pay for... And Italy, especially sorrento it is never cheap!! So how anyone can complain about this hotel for the money paid, is beyond me !! We spent two weeks here in the attic room 304, a lovely very clean compact room with a fabulous view of Capri and... More

The hotel is not very modern but has a lift and is well situated just outside Sorrento on a popular local bus route. The owners and the staff are very helpfull if you ask them politely and with a smile (COURTESY COSTS NOTHING AND GETS YOU EVERYTHING ).The food, service, drinks, views from the terrace are superb. there`s a small beach within easy... My partner and I stayed here for a week with Thomson. We had a room over the restaurant with breathtaking views of Capri and the sunset every evening. The room was a little dated and maybe could do with a little refurbishment but was spotlessly clean, with bed linen and towels changed every day. the food and restaurant service, included... More

Just back from a lovely week at the Villa Pina. As many reviews say, this is an old established restaurant and hotel, dating back to 1909, and for us it was the real traditional Italian experience we wanted. We found the restaurant to be quaint and full of charm, the food delicious and the views from the restaurant were wonderful.... More

Room very basic, single bed metal frame felt like I was going to fall off it. Shower so small only curtain around it couldn't help but get the floor soaking wet. Bathroom really does need updating. Noisy machine outside my room. Garden view? a slope with a few trees on it nothing pleasant to look at. I didn't find it... More
