Had a great lunch today at Lo Scoglio. Fresh Calamari, Octopus salad, Seafood Risotto were all outstanding and good value compared to many places on the Amalfi Coast. Will definitely go again given the chance...

We stayed at lo Scoglio in may for three nights. Although we could have gone anywhere that a tourist would want to go (Positano or Capri), we decided to not leave the hotel as this was the end of our European excursion and we needed some R&R. The family is just Beautiful-both inside and out. Their food was exceptional (fresh... More

Arrived by boat for lunch. That was a great experience in itself but the food was really excellent. Extremely generous portions which we just couldn't do justice to. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed. Beautiful views from the restaurant meant that we didn't mind waiting. An enjoyable couple of hours. Well recommended and delighted to have... We took a little boat from our hotel in Positano yesterday and were welcomed with open arms by Antonia for the most delicious lunch imaginable. A family run set up, they use the freshest of ingredients straight from the sea and vegetables which are grown on the father's farm. The broad beans were to die for as was the zuccini... More

Didn't stay in hotel - but had great lunch off of a boat we'd rented for the day from Sorrento. Wonderful laid-back location over the sea, delicious fresh seafood and pasta, all served by friendly people. Only let-down for us was the wine - we mistakenly ordered half carafe of house white - which was pretty unpleasant. But for that... More

Hotel Lo Scoglio is so beautiful! A family run hotel, in a really special place, right on the beach! Everyone is so friendly the food in the restaurant is amazing - so fresh, they have tanks with mussels, clams and fish. The rooms are nice, not luxurious but really clean and quaint. Beautiful balconies that look out over the bay.... More

Arriving late (10:30pm) direct from bustling Madrid, Marina del Cantone was initially a shock – almost everything was in darkness, including the hotel! But with a little effort we roused someone to show us to our room and promptly crashed. In the morning, the sun was shining, the waves rolled gently on shore, and there was little to do but... More

We stayed at Lo Scoglio da Tommaso for 3 days and it was truly lovely. A quaint and simple hotel with probably about 10 rooms, each with their own large balcony overlooking the harbor. The restaurant was great--we ate 2 dinners at Lo Scoglio, and the food was magnificent. The included breakfast was also great (very simple, just croissants and... More

One of the most beautiful and lovely places I have ever been. The rooms have amazing views of the Med Sea and have spacious porches with lounge chairs. The food at the restaurant is the best I have ever eaten. I will continue to dream about this very special place until I can go back.

The wonder of our trip started at the door. Without even stopping us to check in, Antonia swept us up in an enthusiastic greeting and hustled us straight upstairs (someone from the kitchen carried our bags) to get rest (it had been a harrowing drive in on those twisty roads). Then, because we hadn't eaten lunch, she rustled up the... More
