A very good central location for the town. A hotel which was an old convent, it has been converted and retains lots and lots of character. The wifi is very good. The front of house staff are very good, nothing is to much trouble for them. They will arrange visits etc. The public rooms are cool and kept to a... More

We are in a junior suite but unfortunately there are steps down to the bathroom. Dangerous at night...the rooms are small but the Hotel is quiet and very centrally located. Everything is within walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights. Conveniently situated in quiet area in the middle of town & close to good restaurants. Lovely gardens & comfortable public rooms. My bedroom & en suite was cramped with steps down immediately inside the door. Ended up sitting on the stairs to use computer, write post card, etc. Good breakfast. Helpful front desk staff despite difficulties of... More

Everyone else's reviews are right on the mark. This place deserves another star! Lovely room, amazing public areas for a small property, great breakfast and helpful staff. I'd be happy to move in for a nice long stay.

hotel well located in Centre of town Staff helpful and will park your car for you at no extra cost One of our rooms was on 2 levels with a steep staircase down to shower (which was cramped) and toilet which was interesting at night and certainly would not suit anyone with a disability. renovated with style but many stairs... They needed 3 years of renovations but the wait was well worth. This converted historic convent has everything a traveler could want, and that includes free parking which is rare in the center of any city. Some of the rooms have huge balconies overlooking the garden (formerly cloisters) which is the perfect spot for some late day refreshments. If you... More

This charming hotel in a quiet piazza right in the centre of town is a perfect place from which to explore Marsala. Pleasant rooms, delightful breakfast, lots of space downstairs to sit and plan your day - and such pretty gardens. The staff at reception were most helpful, including the delightful Gaspare. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Our sat nav struggled to guide us through the warren of narrow streets in Marsala to find Carmine Hotel but it was well worth the effort. The hotel is located in a lovely piazza in the old own. There is free parking but it is not easy to find a space until you leave your keys with the nice man... More

We stayed here for one night after arriving late at Trapani airport. A beautiful palazzo with great rooms, very friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. This hotel easily deserves more than its three star rating. We had difficulties finding a parking space the night we arrived - the night porter took our car keys with the words "it's not your... Carmine Hotel is about a ten minute walk from the main square of Marsala and located on a quiet back street. In a building formerly a convent, it has been restored and repurposed with skill and style. (One momentarily disorienting feature on the first floor (American 2nd) is a glass floor over some old tiles--preserving their beauty without exposing them... More
