We got off the train in Mestre and followed the map & instructions provided by the hotel. They were right on. Just make sure you stay in the tunnel crossing under the tracks and go the opposite direction from the Mestre train station. You'll end up on the Marghera side of the tracks. This is a small hotel in a residential quiet area. It is aconvientent 20 min bus ride to Venice and 5 min walk from Meistra train station. The staff is friendly, breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Nice resturant nearby. more

We are not your average tourists . We wake early, explore and settle early in the evening, however this didn't bother the hotel, a 05.00 need for a breathe of italian air received a " buon guionorno"- I apologise for my poor italian. Although the hotel in not located in Venice, the bus stop is around the corner. buses no. 6 and 6/ can get you into central venice in 10 minutes, and they run well into the night.
