The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It's not a hotel it's more like a hostel. The staff are rude and ignorant. The rooms are literally 10 ft x 10 ft including toilet. No wardrobe or shelves for clothes. Wifi is not free and is terrible.. the hotel CLOSES every day from early morning until 3pm and access is... More

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There is no luggage storage, you have to go to the sister hotel across the street where they charge a euro for a section blocked off by a curtain. The wifi is not free as stated, you get a half hour and it only works in reception, you have to pay after... More

We stayed two nights n were the worse stay ever. Rooms very tiny, small bathroom. The service was horrible, breakfast the worse ever for the price. One of the managers, that was always there ( a black guy) had the worse attitude n don't know anything about customer service. Oh by the way do not loose the room key because... More

We booked Hotel Mondial but got told on arrival we have been transferred to the owners other hotel across the road 'Venice City Art Hotel'. We stayed in room 204, I say room, but this could also be classed as a holding cell with a window. No wifi as promised at time of booking. We did however have air con... More

Stayed here as part of the Expat Tour group. Hotel is clean, rooms are tiny, bed was comfortable, good wifi. Location was far from city center. The hotel did not have wifi, had to use the sister hotel across the street for wifi. Had to go across the street for Luggage storage and to use lobbt bathroom which i found... More

Just terrible. Small ruined dirty rooms, dirty blankets, small dirty bathroom, breakfast was really poor. It is rather cheap but not cheap enough considering poor qualitiy. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Avoid at any cost.

Our group of 4 visited Venice earlier this year and stayed in this hotel for 1 night. We booked 2 rooms in this hotel almost one and a half month ago and called 2 weeks before our arrival for confirming our bookings. LOCATION: very close to train station but few train stop away from the island of Venice. SERVICE: very... More

We booked a 3* hotel „City of Art Venice Lloyd“. Worst thing that happened, we were redirected to other hotel (just in front) due to construction, as we were told. We were offered a small dark room with twin beds and one extra. Bedding was with holes. Ceiling and walls needs repainting. Room was equipped with A/C, but it was... More

We were only staying in Venice for one night, so we decided to go cheap. The proximity to the Mestre train station was also a draw, because we had a train to catch. This is where the positives end. We arrived at the Mestre station at 10 am. We walked over to Lloyd, only to find that the front door... More

This hotel is the worst I have stayed in Europe! The location is the best thing about it, very near train station and only 10 mins from Venice. Apart from that, the room was tiny! Claustrophobic almost. No cupboards, wardrobe to hang up your clothes. Living out a suitcase for a week. Tiny shower room. Very little view. Access to... More
