Fantastic views - I had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Just gobsmackingly gorgeous. The restaurant was lovely and the waiter/manager was brilliant. It was real Italy - not much English spoken but that was no problem. You can walk down to the pretty beach and a bit of a climb up but I'm 61 and I managed... More

We stayed a couple of days at the hotel and our trip on its own was a discovery, great panoramic views, plus nature in its full splendore. Hotel Martino is a 3 star with a four star standard if not more, nice and proffessional staffs, spacious and very clean room "impeccable" I had a room with a spectacular sea view... More

We only stayed at this place overnight, as it was on the way to another city. Beautiful place. Rooms spacious and clean. We had a very nice balcony with a nice view of the grounds. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and staff very friendly. Ate at their restaurant, which was very good. This place is a good value for... More

Good points.. The room was really spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Best shower I have ever seen in a hotel. Great balcony view surpassed by Santorini. The whole place LOOKS 5 star. Unfortunately service is a joke. At the end of their season they clearly didn't want to be here. It is not as advertised a 10 min walk... More

I was really happy with the choice of this hotel. The people at the reception were really friendly and spoke enough English to communicate easily. The room was nice, clean, and offered a stunning view of the sea. The breakfast was also good. If you want to go to the beach, this is maybe a 10 to 15 minutes walk.... More

I found this hotel via trip advisor and was very happy with my choice. A very quiet location set outside both the port & centre of Maratea so you need a car for getting around. But the coastal views of the sea from the sea view rooms & the terrace infront of reception & also the restaurant for breakfast were... More

I am giving this hotel 5 stars because the value was outstanding. The views from our balcony were superb, especially at sunset. We had a very large, comfortable room and there was plenty of free parking. You definitely need a car here. We came in May and the large and attractive indoor pool was heated - a very nice treat... Reception was friendly and had some English. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the sea and with a view all the way up the coast. However the hotel is 7 km from the Centro Historica Maratea, about 4 km from the port. It is possible to walk to the beach from the hotel but unfortunately... More

We arrived just before sunset after a very long and eventful drive. We found the hotel easily and parked with ease, as there seemed to be a small number of guests at that time. The receptionist was friendly, very competent and helpful, despite the fact that she was struggling with a severe allergy - she was a real trooper. We... More

The Martino is one of those hidden beauties. Spectacular views from the rooms and a short walk to beautiful grey sand beaches. Maratea is a short drive away and offers a lovely seaside town with marina and bayside dining. Rooms are modern and sparkling clean, the dining is wonderful and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of parking onsite and... More
