A bit out of town but perfect to get away from it all. A bus stops right outside to get to the local towns and beaches. Great pool, pretty garden with playhouse and bits for the kids. Nice buffet breakfast and fab restaurant. The thing that sets this place apart is the staff. The owner is always around and treats... More

We stayed here on our way to (and on the way back from) Sicily. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and reasonable food. Pool was very good but you have to wear a bathing cap! The hotel is in a lovely part of Italy and well worth a visit

Very helpful folk over there! with good english which was a surprise to us. Nice beaches (Marina de Maratea). Comfortable rooms and a cosy restaurant serving yummy dishes. Definitely recommended! Best regards and "grazie mille", Anastasia

The first surprise was to end up in Maratea which was not exactly the plan. Maratea is not a good place to be without a car. The second surprise was to randomly meet an employee of this very nice establishment who enthusiastically gave us a ride to the hotel and along with her very nice boss, made us feel extremely... We spent a night in this very attractive and comfortable hotel in late winter when we may have been the only guests. Nonetheless, staff were very friendly and helpful; the hotel was quiet (as you'd expect without many other guests); the room was large and clean; and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and was quite... More

The junior suite (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom) we had, was well equipped in a classy style, clean with lots of space. Airconditioning was working properly. Breakfast is certainly more than "basic Italian". Staff is very friendly. Wifi is only working (slow) in the public area and not in the rooms. We stayed two nights. It was a bit odd to notice... When we first arrived at the hotel, we were concerned about the location - as it was not right next to the beach and water. But we had a fantastic stay. The Staff were the best we encountered in our 2 weeks in Italy and the price of the food and hotel was extremely good. We ate in the restaurant... More

This hotel is outside Maratea (which it is not on the sea by the way), located on a road and you need to take the car to go anywhere. The food is very good (I am Italian). The rooms are small but ok for the price. What I did not like is the service, there are a number of not... More

This was a convenient hotel for our trip down the coast. The beach is a long walk or a short drive away and cannot be seen from the hotel. Breakfast was very basic. Room was small and walls were thin.

The first thing to know about this hotel is that it is not in the town of Maratea. It is a few miles down the coast so a car is, in my opinion, a necessity. Maratea coast is really the entire coastline on this side of Basilicata with the lovely town of Maratea perched on a mountain at the northern... More
