Newmarket Holidays informed us 3 days before we were due to travel that we were being transferred to the Alpi from our original hotel. Having booked in January after a great deal of research through Tripadvisor and then seeing some of the comments on the Alpi we were less than happy. We were however, pleasantly surprised as we were nearer... More

Location is fine, in the centre beside the bus station and 5 mins to the lake/port area. Rooms. Very much in need of modernisation and a good cleaning/painting. Cobwebs etc on ceilings/corners. Tired old furniture with freestanding wardrobes with wonky doors and dark dreary (old) drapes. Beds are only fit for a skip. I was sharing what was booked as... More

overall we enjoyed our stay at the Alpi. Most of the gueste were either German or Italians and there was very little English spoken. In fact the week that we were there there were only four English speaking guests ..Having said that we communicated in our own way and we developed a rapport with others. The hotel lobby is creepy... We stayed with a group of 10 for our wedding in Malcesine. The hotel is in a prime location, just set back from the main road through the town and away from the noise. It's a short walk to the Monte Baldo cable car station and also to the ferry station and town centre. The rooms are a little dated... More

Stayed at The Hotel Alpi from 17th-24th of August 2008. The Hotel is situated in the Centre of Malcesine just off the main road which runs around the lake and is directly opposite the road leading downhill to the main shopping, tourist and harbour areas. Malcesine lies beneath and around the imposing castle which dominates the town. There is plenty... More

We stayed in Hotel Alpi for 7 nights as we were there for my sister's wedding. First and foremost, the location couldn't be beat. There were over 20 people there for the wedding and only 8 of us got rooms in Hotel Alpi. Everybody else had to stay further out of the centre of Malcesine - about a 20 minute... More

My son was getting married in Malceisne castle so about 14 of us stayed in the Alpi. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and just far enough from the town to be lovely and peaceful. The Breakfast was Continental which did not appeal to me,otherwise the food was ok. The one fault i had... More
