We just got back from the Alpino with lots of good memories of our stay there. Patrizia and Dominic were very kind and allowed us to move after a few days from our room in the annexe to room 202 in the main hotel when we asked for a front aspect overlooking the square with no fuss or hassle. We... More

Loved this little hotel, situated on the town square. We stayed for 10 nights in room 204 which has the bigger balcony and we watched whilst the Saturday market set up and then wandered down to a very adequate breakfast of pastries, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, toast and spreads accompanied by coffee, tea, juices, water. We too ate in the restaurant... More

It was by reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor that we decided to stay here and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family by the owners Patrizia & Dominic and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a room in the annex with a small balcony at the front looking... More

The hotel is on the main town square equal distance from the ferry and the bus stop on the main road. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and we got excellent value for money. The lift makes it possible for people with walking difficulties to use the hotel, but speak to reception before booking. Airport transfer to Verona airport... More

What can I say that no one else has said. This was our first time to Malescine , lake Garda but we we would go back tomorrow. It's a beautiful place and the hotel Alpino is super. Good location, basic but very clean. Rooms are simple but spotless, nice white clean towels every day. Bed was a little uncomfortable but... More

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for a week. Perfect location, around the corner from the harbour. The room was more than suitable for our needs. Comfy bed, running water and a working tv (had to flick through channels to find an English programme) and a balcony. Balcony was a bit small but it was still nice... More

This was our second stay at the Alpino Hotel (First being in September 2013), we would normally never return to the same pace twice but we were simply drawn back to this fantastic family run hotel. The Alpino has a 2 star rating but the service, staff and food are without a doubt 5 star! The owners Patrizia & Dom... More

We recently stayed at the Alpino for a week, when attending a wedding in Malcesine and I cannot praise this hotel too highly. Rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, including fresh fruit, cheeses and cold meats with beautifully cooked boiled eggs and all the usual sweet pastries etc. Where the Alpino really shines, however, is... More

Just had a week in this little gem of an hotel on Lake Garda, We cannot believe that it only has a two star rating but I think this is more to do with local tax rules rather than the very high level of service you get from Patrizia, Dom and their staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any... More

Just back yesterday from a 4 night stay for our friends' wedding at nearby Scaligero Castle. No idea why this is only 2 star and can only think its something like 'no pool', as it's 5 star in every way and probably better because the service is so personal. It's first class with NO faults and everything you could think... More
