hotel in an idyllic spot for relaxing by the lake. fabulous decking area to the rear. owners very pleasant,helpful throughout stay -nothing a problem. rooms clean /pleasant and functional. We go to the Hotel Sirena at least 3 times/year. The hotel has a perfect location (close to everything), it's very clean, has parking (which is essential when you go by car to Malcesine), the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and from this year the terrace outside, on the lake, has been renewed. my husband and I celebrated my 50th in the hotel sirena malcesine. The hotel is basically a B&B Italian style. The accommodation is very clean,although quite characterless-a bit IKEA flat pack. Our stay at this hotel was not as good as other reviewers experiences; the main owners were on holiday, and the temp managing staff may have been their children (in their 20's), who unfortunately we found to be rude and unfriendly, especially the daughter- which was unfortunate, because it was going to be difficult to ruin a holiday in lake... more
