Good hotel, excellent breakfast, spotlessly clean (except the shower heads), great pools, lovely scenery. The walk to the main town is very scenic alongside the lake, great views of the other side. The walk takes about 30 minutes in all. We did use the Tourist Bus for €1.20 which saved our legs in the evening. Our stay at Maximilian was... More

We stayed at the Maximilian for two weeks in August 2014 for our honeymoon. The junior suite room was lovely and spacious with an indulgent bathroom and excellent view of the lake. We used the spa facilities which were very good value for money. The best things about this hotel are the staff, and the food. All of the staff... More

Just back from ten days at the Hotel Maximilian on Lake Garda. We drove from France and while checking in, the receptionist (all of whom were delightful and smiling) explained we could park securely (gate to the property has a code) just under the trees really close to our room. Despite this she left the desk to come out and... More

Fantastic views over the lake were just part of this wonderful experience. All the reviews we saw were spot on. The staff could not do enough to make our stay very comfortable, the rooms were kept spotlessly clean, the food was excellent and the surroundings very pleasant. Oh the weather for our 8 days was just brilliant so the walk... More

Like most people, I looked at tripadvisor for inspiration and a bit of knowledge before booking the maximmilian. Most reviews were excellent and the odd slightly negative one. Here is my view of Hotel maximillian. My Wife and I booked through Topflight to spend a week in the Maximillian to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.Good flight from Belfast city to... More

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location was just wonderful - beautiful views of mountains and lake. We could not have asked for better. We stayed in a suite which had a glass front overlooking the lake. It was quite expensive but was definitely worth paying the extra for the suite. All we had to do was open... More

My wife and I recently stayed for 10 nights at this amazing little hotel, we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. the room was spotlessly clean and was more than adequate as a base, we had a double balcony and the view from the room was stunningly breathtaking. The quality of food and service in the restaurant was a joy, the... More

We stayed here for a week at the end of May this year. The staff are so polite and helpful it's hard to believe. The inclusive meals are also first class. It's situated just 15 minutes walk from the centre of malcesine but this is ideal as you can pop into town when you wish but don't have the noise... More

We booked with Citalia and were pleased to book a private luxury transfer car. We exited arrivals to an iPad bearing our name and straight to a Merc and 90 minutes later were at the hotel . The guy sat next to us on the plane arrived by coach two hours later by which time I was on the sun... More
