We were delayed a couple of hours thanks to the Italian Air traffic Strike and then had to wait ages for our luggage. Add to this that our coach stopped to drop off at every possible hotel in Bardolino and onwards to Malcesine before dropping us off last. We had to run straight into the dining room which was about... More

First the negatives and I'm being picky ... our deluxe room wasn't ready at 11:50am and we had to wait almost an hour. We were not in the main hotel but through a tunnel to the back of the hotel it wasn't looking good. Deluxe turned out to be a junior suite ... huge room and balcony overlooking the lake... More

Stayed the last week in August with our two children (3 & 7). Hotel very clean and well run. We were in a deluxe room which had two large singles and a sofa bed made up for children. Large shower in bathroom. Room always spotless and great view from balcony. Food - great choices considering the number of people they... More

We returned to malcesnie after going 11 years since on our honeymoon and I can honestly say it's not really changed. This really is a fantastic unspoilt, beautiful place to visit. The majestic palace hotel was superb. The staff were so friendly, very clean rooms, great buffet style food in the restaurant but most of all I would say the... More

My husband and I strayed at majestic palace on 16th August for two weeks. It was the best holiday we ever had and in such a beautiful place. Everything was perfect. The staff all over the hotel were very helpful and nice to us at all times. The room 629 was fab. The pool areas. Gardens. Food and drink, afternoon... More

I stayed here for a week in July for my daughters wedding (in the castle). The staff in reception were very helpful and the food good in the restaurant, especially for what we paid as half board plus, which included drinks with meals and some lunches. Six of us stayed here but most of the wedding party stayed in either... More

Stayed here for two weeks in August. Lovely hotel short walking distance from Malcedine. Shuttle bus available, however we never used it. Food was outstanding, catered for all tastes. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Family rooms were very spacious. Room Cleaning was pretty half hearted, and cleaner could have done with a bed making course. All beds were dreadfully... More

We ended up in this hotel unexpectedly and I must say, we initially avoided it because of the number of kids and the distance from the town. The shuttle bus doesn't run often enough for the amount of time we needed to spend back and forth in Malcesine which meant a lot of walking (20mins brisk walk). That, however, was... More

We travelled as a large group for a wedding. The hotel facilities are good, the mini golf and tennis courts are a good addition. All of the pool areas are pleasant. The food was ok but the buffet style was a little disappointing, it felt like a bit of a free for all. The location is ok, the walk back... More

We enjoyed the facilities at this hotel and the food was great. The staff were very pleasant. We paid for Superior Room which was a big disappointment - it overlooked the noisy bar/pool area and was very cramped for 3 adults and one child save that the décor was good. Wish we had got a room in at the back.
