Previous reviewers are divided in their opinions. I am with those positively disposed. May be due to the term of our stay (end of March), in spite of having a front room, we could not compain about any noise in the night. Room (219) was spacy enough for two and spotlessly clean. Towerls were changed not daily but after every... More

We stayed at the Savoia Palace in Jan 13 and had a wonderful holiday, the hotel had great charm, fantastic staff and superb food. On the strength of this stay we decided to return this year with our son. We visited in Jan,understanding that the hotel had new management. The hotel seemed to have very few guests and was very quiet until... More

Now under new management there have been a few changes- some good- some not so good. 1. Ski room revamped- much better though where the boots are kept it is still very narrow. A new ski storage rack where the children's play room used to be. However, still an awful walk from the ski room to the street squeezing between... More

Savoia Palace is a traditional ski hotel which has both character and warmth. Yes it is a little tired in places but this is a minor aspect overall. What is great about the hotel is it's proximity to the Laghi 5 gondola. If this is too far to carry ski's, 250-300 metres then make sure you book a hotel on... More

Lovely hotel. It's very central, with spacious and well appointed rooms. The lifts are quite close. Food was excellent and the service was brilliant. The bar was cosy with a great fireplace. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

we traveled with our 7 yrs old son. We got a spacious room with nice mountain view. Room was simple. Loby area was looking old style, as well as restaurant. We enjoyed fire place at the bar area. there was a spa area. It was ok. Restaurant's breakfast was ok. Overall, staff was always friendly and ready to assist the... More

Had a week in Maddona skiing in January 2012 . Selected this hotel on price and location and fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. The rooms are comfortable ,but very noisy facing the road. We moved after the first night to a room at the rear and this was much quieter. The problem is it is on the main road and... More

We obtained a last minute ski holiday deal and stayed in this hotel for one week in February. The hotel is virtually in the centre of Madonna and adjacent to the traffic free zone. It is only 100 metres from the 5 Laghi express lift. This lift gives convenient access to all pistes in Madonna (more convenient than the other... More

We stayed at this hotel on a skiing holiday with friends in January. Unfortunately I broke my leg on the second day and so was confined to the hotel on crutches with my leg in plaster for several days before flying back to the UK for an op. This could have been really depressing but the staff and owners could... More
