When we visited Madonna di Campiglio, for one night only, weather was so-so and in the evening a terrible thunderstorm broke loose. This might have affected our impression of the resort, which probably is just lovely with perfect conditions. We stayed for a week while skiing in Madonna. Its a great location, about 10 mins walk from centre of town and they provide a shuttle service to the ski lifts in the morning & evening. If you're looking for the atmosphere of a smaller family owned hotel in Madonna di Campiglio, this is it. We have been staying at Lorenzo & Maria's place every other year since 1999 and feel like part of the family when we're there.
