We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights to take my elderly parents to a family get together, my father is wheelchair bound so we needed disabled facilities, and we have used several hotels in recent months so that my parents can get away. The Auberge is on the main road, but don't let this put you off, there is no... More

Came here with friends for a Christmas meal (ok, so I'm a little late with my review!) as we had been toying with the idea for a while. So pleased we went. The service was impeccable, food was excellent & such lovely ambience. It's very much a special occasions type place, but You won't be disappointed!

We stayed here for a low key celebration. The staff are very helpful and the rooms were nice if a little dusty with spiders in areas - super towels and the beds were comfy. The food was good but we waited an absolute age between main course and dessert - none of the desserts chosen were hot/cooked but it was... More

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Auberge as my room was spacious, very comfortable and very well equipped with all the sort of things one wants in a hotel. There is also the Auberge's excellent restaurant to look forward to when you arrive (see my separate review). The only drawback is that it is on a busy main... More

We arrived and were worried about being disturbed by a heavy amount of traffic but our room was away from the road and the double glazing meant we didn't notice it at all. In fact, once we'd reached our bedroom, which was beautifully decorated and been introduced to the owner, we immediately felt relaxed and at home. The meal was... More

Stayed for 3 nights & used as a base for a short break. Whole experience from booking to checkout was smooth & problem free. The rooms were spotless with fine quality linens & towels. We had dinner twice at the Auberge & both meals were excellent, breakfast's were freshly cooked & to order. The owners & staff were welcoming &... More

We live 10 minutes down the road and pass by in and out of Diss daily so in April we decided to try it for my husbands birthday meal. When we walked into the bar area it felt as if we had stepped back in time to the 80's. It's very much a family affair and whilst the food was... More

I stayed at this hotel recently for a visit to my head office. Very nicely located on the A140 Norwich-Ipswich Road. Although by the main road, the noise levels overnight were not noticeable from my room. Room was very well appointed with king size bed, air conditioning and a very well specified bathroom with walk in shower (no bath but... More

My husband and I chose the Auberge for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had a beautiful 4 poster bed, the room was spotless, there was a large bathroom with large bath ( no separate shower) large flat screen TV and air conditioning. We arrived in the early evening, the bar and restaurant is closed all day... More
