It is a week now that my husband and I returned from our week in hotel Cristallo in Livigno, Italy and our skiing vacation there. The hotel is small but it is recently refurnished and the rooms are quite nice . All the bathrooms have sauna which is a plus. The breakfast is quite nice but if you have half board going you are in for a disappointment. We paid 150,00 euros per night for breakfast and dinner, and the main courses were fried eggs, some sort of local plate with salami amd other " delicacies" . The same salad was served all three nights we ate there, so when we expressed our disatisfaction to the hotel manager, we agreed to pay 130,00 for the room and breakfast, but beleive me, there are so many restaurants all around the village and the food is so cheap everywhere that it was the best thing to do just to choose bed and breakfast. Just 5 minutes from the hotel, is restaurant La Skala, where you will eat great Lobster Spaggeti for 10,00 euros and the best seafood... more
